"Ignore the darkness; ignore the pain
Don't let it get to your head
Don't let it hurt
Keep holding back,
Hide from the light
Don't speak, not now
It's taking over
I can't feel it anymore
I don't care anymore
Nothing can stop me now
I'm shining brighter than the lightest light,
Darker than the darkest night
You cannot stop me, not any more"
[size=82]Theme song #1: "Words Can't Bring Me Down" by "Christina Agulera"
"I am beautiful no matter what they say.
Words can't bring me down.
I am beautiful in every single way.
Yes, words can't bring me down... Oh no.
So don't you bring me down today."
Theme song #2: "All of Me" by "John Legend"
"'Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections
Give your all to me
I'll give my all to you
You're my end and my beginning
Even when I lose I'm winning
'Cause I give you all of me
And you give me all of you, oh"
Story:
A pair of Emerald green eyes opens in a shrub. They blink, and you hear a light, carefree laugh. Everything was good, everything fun. The cat who the eyes belonged to was alone. His name was Emerald. Emeralds tale shows you, that if you really want something, you should go for it. Reach for the stars. Don't let the dark nights ruin your great days. It also explains, that even after someone is gone, they are still with you. Never give up. Just like Emerald. The tale of Emerald has been told through out all the land of Cks. Be one of the knowing Cks, and read ahead.
Emerald raced threw a feild, towards his favorite spot. He skidded to a stop when he got to the raging river. This part always scarred him. He jumped onto a rock in the middle of the river. I took a lot of strenght, and he put all his momentum forward. He launched onto the slippery wet rock, almost slipping off. He regained his balance, and saw waves of water from the river crash against the rock. He jumped to the next rock, then the next, to the next, to the bank of the river. "Phew!" He mewed. He ran up to a tree, then sprung upward with all his might, grabbing the tree branch above him. He swung up, and watched the river in peace. A half an hour later, he jumped from the branch. Emerald returned cautiously across the river, and onto the bank. He trotted toward the edge of the forest. He looked back, then continued on. Emerald ran threw the forest, quickly and calmly. He played with the flowers. "Hey jerk face!" He heard a voice call. Night. "I think I should go..." He said as Night backed him into a tree. "Let me have some fun first! The party has just begun" he says me menacingly. Emerald stuck his horns out in pure fright. "L-l-l-leave me alone!" He half yelled, so afraid he was shaking. "Watch were you are pointing those things!" Night hissed, whacking his horns away. "Ow!" Emerald mewed. Night scratched his flank, and blood oozed down Emeralds back. He winced, closing his eyes. "C'mon wimp!" Night hissed. He pushed Emerald to the ground. "Fight me!" Night yelled at the poor bleeding cat. "I am not in the mood." Emerald said as kind as he could. "Wuss" Night mumbled under his breath. He left. Emerald lay there for hours, his warm sticky blood fell from his fur, until it scarred. But Emerald didn't move. He closed his eyes, wondering why the world had done this to him. He wanted to feel loved, but all he got was hate. He hoped, that on day, someone would love him. Someone... He had in mind. Emerald got up weakly, wincing from the pain. He ran walked towards the camp then Stopped. He couldn't let anyone see him like this! He wet to the lake, and couldn't believe what he was about to do. He jumped in the freezing cold water. After he had washed himself off, he got out, shivering and cold. He dried himself off, then walked to an old rock. He jumped onto it, feeling the fuzzy moss between his claws. He scraped at it, wondering why it was such a big world. Emerald wished it was smaller. He wanted to explore it all. Leave Night behind. But with such a big space to explore, he couldn't do it all in his lifetime. And he couldn't leave Fawna behind. Fawna, the girl he loved. His fur stood on end at even thinking of her name. Thinking of her at all really. Emerald stretched and yawned. It was getting dark. He should have been heading home. But he wanted to stay out a little longer. He wasn't sure if he liked it out there, or if he just wanted to stay away from Night. He didn't really care anymore. But he shouldn't let night treat him like that! Emerald kicked a rock and watched it sail threw the forest, whistling in the wind. He laughed, feeling as free as he had ever felt. After a long time of playing, he walked back to camp and went to bed, with no one bothering him. "That's a first." He thought. The next day Emerald lay in a clearing, watching the girl of his dreams, Fawna. Fawna glanced at him, ad he turned away, blushing. She walked over to him, her agile body moving gracefully and swiftly. "Hey, Emerald, right?" She asked him. emerald was to astonished to speak, so he nodded. "Wanna go on a hunt or something." She asked him. Emerald felt like his heart jumped out of his chest. He was so happy he couldn't move. "Yes or no?" Fawna asked. "Uh- I um... Would- uh... Love to!" He managed to say. He got up, and Fawna lead him to a small clearing. She lowered herself to the floor, stalking something. A rabbit! Emerald watched her silently as she swiftly crept towards her meal. Then, suddenly, she leapt onto it, killing it with one quick blow. "Nice catch!" Emerald said. He looked for his own, but didn't see anything! He sniffed and sniffed,to come up with nothing. After a while of wandering around, Emerald caught the scent of a bird. Immediately pursuing it, he crept along the floor. His stomach rubbed against the hard dirt. He halted as the bird turned, and looked around. Once the bird returned to what it was doing, he crept closer. It was a large bird. He was surprised it didn't notice his humongous horns sticking up form the grass. Finally, Emerald sprung. The bird squaked in fright, taking flight, with Emerald struggling on top of it. It was almost one foot in the air when he finally got his claws into the right position. The birds limp body, and Emerald bit crumpled onto the floor. "Nice catch." Fawna giggled. Emerald blushed. "Thanks." He mumbled and they buried their kills for later. "Hey, can it take you somewhere?" Emerald asked Fawna. "Sure, why not?" Fawna said happily. Emerald smiled, and lead her through a familiar path. He skidded to a halt at the river bank. "This is the hard part." He smiled. He launched onto the first rock, like he had done many times before. But this time, he did not slip. "Woah there tiger, are your sure about this?" Fawna asked him. "I've done it before!" He mews. "If you say so." Fawna says, jumping. He land on the edge of the rock, stumbling backwards. "Fawna!" Emerald calls as her back paws slip. "Emerald! Help me! Help!" She screams in terror as the raging water pulls at her. Emerald grabs her scruff, and the water pulls harder. "Hold on!" He calls, but it comes out muffled through her scruff. His grip slips, and she screams. Fawna falls out of his mouth. "Fawna!" He says, watching the water pull her away from him. "Fawna! No!" He calls, jumping in after her. He swims as hard as he can. He is pulled under. He lifts his head up, looking for Fawna. He hoped she hadn't reached the waterfall. He sees her body, close to the waterfall. He reaches her, just as she begins to fall. He grabs her paw with his own, and his body lurches forward due to her weight. He clings on to the edge of the falls with his hind legs claws, the water pushing on his back. He manages to pull Fawna up, and swim her to the bank. They both cough up water, but Fawna also gags. "Are you alright?!?!" Emerald asks her, and she nods. Even though he too is weak, Emerald puts her on his back, and carries her to their kills. She tells him she can stand, so he lets her down. They pick up their food. The two put their food in the pile. Fawna went to get something from her den, so Emerald lay once again. He winced as he heard a voice. "Hey, girl named guy!" Snickered the biggest bully in the clan. It was Night again. Emerald looked at his paws. "Look at me when I talk to you." Night growls at Emerald, yanking his horns up, causing Emerald to look at him. "Ow!" Emerald mewed in pain. "Wuss! We've gotta wuss up in here!" Night says, and his posy of cats snicker and sneer. This was the typical day for Emerald. Wake up, get bullied about how he sleeps, don't defend himself. Eat, get bullied on the way he eats, dot fight back. That's how it works with Night. You were supposed to let him do and say whatever he wants. No body talks back to him, EVER! No one ever has. Emerald wishes he could build up the courage to, but he can't. It's just to much. What would happen if he did? It would just get worse. "Leave him alone." Fawna hisses at Night. Emerald perks his ears. Fawns was talking back to Night? For Emerald? This was new. Very new. How could it be? "D'aw c'mon baby. We're just joking around." Night says and nuzzles her. He was doing it to rub. It in Emeralds face that they were dating. Emerald looks away. "I thought I told you to look at me!" Night says, and kicks Emerald hard. Emerald winces and tumbles away in pain. He can't bear to look at Fawna. "You're just jealous he can grow his horns faster than you!" Fawna finally blurts out. Night slowly but surely turned to her, maliciousness in his glare. "What... What did you just say to me?!?!?!" He hisses at her, taking a threatening step towards her. But it was true, Nights horns weren't full grown yet, but Emeralds were. "What's your problem Night? Who really is the wuss here. Your to afraid to fight me, you just yell at you girlfriend?" Emerald snaps at Night, and immediately wishes he hadn't. Emerald had never fought back against Night. Night's posy gasped and whispered. "Aw shut up losers! I can beat him any day." Night calls to his posy. "Then prove it." Fawna said, lifting her chin. "She is a little rebel." Emerald heard someone in Nights posy call. "THATS IT!" Night yells, jumping at Emerald. Emerald catches Night in his horns, and flings him into a tree. Emerald stumbles back, astonished of what he has done. Night hits the tree with a thud Night stammers to his feet. Fawna squeals, "how did you-?" But Night cuts her off by taking Emerald down. He tackles him, grabbing him by his horns, pinning his to the ground, "you EVER make a fool outta me again, I will kill you. Especially in front of my girl." He growls in a low voice. "WUSS!" Emerald screams in his face. "Why won't you kill me, WUSS!" Emerald says. "YOUR ASKING FOR IT!" Night hisses, lifting his paws to strike. That's were he messed up. By lifting his paws, he had freed Emerald from being pinned. Emerald kicked him in the stomach as hard as he could digging his claws into Nights stomach, with his back legs. Emerald jumped to his feet, and lowers his head, pointing his horns at Night. "I'm giving you a chance." Emerald growls. "Leave." Nights posy hoots and hollers. "Go Emerald!" They chant, Fawna joining in. "I ain't leaving you fool!" Night snarls, silencing the posy. "Ok then!" Emerald says, charging. "GAH!" Night yowls, running. "Yeah, that's right! Who's the wuss now big guy! Get outta here!" Emerald calls. "Wuss! Faker! Loser!" The posy yells after Night. Fawna runs to Emerald, and they nuzzle. "I love you." They both say. They spent years together, became mates, and had kits. One day, Fawna became ill and died. From then on, Emerald was always heart broken, and second guessed himself. To honor Fawna, Emerald took care of their kits with such care, they all became leaders, and great ones too. Fawna smiled upon Emerald from the heavens, and cursed Night until his death for the misery he had caused her.
