Millie was pulling a cart with something steaming securely tied on it. “Hey Pep, I brought something delicious today! But it's still too hot and we got a lot of work to do first.”, she greeted them. “Now where did you put all the things I got you so far? Put on your ear muffs and get your scarf and then let's get started.”
Both searched and carried everything together: the umbrella was placed on top of the rug, added pillows to define the shape, the blanket to use as a ceiling and finally the music box for the ambience. It wasn't an easy task but working together they managed to get it done.
“There we go, our very own pillow fort! Isn't it great? And after all this work in the freezing cold, we deserve something invigorating.” Millie went to grab the pot she moved over there earlier. “Seems like it's cooled down enough now. It's noodle soup, I like it a lot.”
"You know", she added, "my human said lots of humans celebrate today with their families and spend time with their loved ones. But my human said to her it's just a day like any other, so I wanted to spend today with you. I had a really good time. Hope you did too."

They were wrapped in all sorts of colourful papers, some adorned with shiny ribbons or bows, some with bells, one seemed to be covered in pages of an old book! Creative... but the boxes themselves were extremely light, almost as if-

Darling was very excited now that it was finally Christmas! She was sent out on a mission to check on Pep by her keyholder, likely because she was going crazy around the house while her keyholder was trying to make Christmas dinner. So on her mission she brought a shiny new nutcracker. He was a handsome little soldier statue was a bright red and stood with a gold scepter in his wooden hand. Darling really liked this nutcracker so she figured it would be a perfect Christmas gift for Pep. She wished Pep a Merry Christmas and then went on her way home to spent time with her keyholder and their family.

What a Christmas it had been. Long day of cooking and last minute wrapping. Lily had opened a few, and watched her loving humanoid family get a few things. It had not been a big Christmas, but it was one spent with family and that meant a lot to this girl. At the end they had watched some really bad movies on Netflix. Which was a bit of a hoot if she do say so herself. Like there was this one movie- ya know what nevermind. That, that would be a bit much to explain. She had made a honey ham with her mother though. And there were plenty of leftovers to bring to Pep the next day or so. Lily walked up the hill with some ham wrapped in foil. She had it in a small picnic basket. It kinda made her feel like Little Red Riding Hood, minus the hood.... and the cookies. Instead she had ham... and was bundled in layers of clothes. As she reached the little house of Peps she slowly opened the door. "Hello," she closed the door and grinned. "I brought some leftover from our Christmas dinner. I thought you may like a home cooked dinner. A little late for Christmas but not too much." Lily opened the basket and unwrapped the honey baked ham. "Her ya go."

Millie had been in a good mood and eagerly anticipated visiting Pep again. She spent all day yesterday trying out different types of candy with her human. Oddly enough, Millie disliked most of them. It was still a lot of fun though and she decided to bring a few of her favourites to share with Pep.
So when Millie arrived at their corner, she was very excited. “Hello Pep, I am a little later than usual. Hope you don't mind! But I brought some candy. There are fruity gummy snakes, which are very fun to just have dangle halfway from your mouth. And there's blueberry cupcakes, I helped my human bake those actually. Finally, marshmallows, very fluffy ones. They're supposed to have different flavours but to me they all just taste very sweet and sugary.”
Millie gave the small bag of goodies to Pep: “Don't eat too many at once though, that's no good.”
And with that, she was on her way back home again.

Alright, hear Asra out: scented candles are great. Even if they aren't necessarily the best light or heat sources, they could sure smell great. He likes the pine tree scent, but made sure to gather a plethora of different scents as he wasn't quite sure what Pep would like. The cinnamon spice scented candle does have a warm feeling to it so perhaps, it can help Pep's cold plight by melting some ice while releasing a strong aroma into the air. Asra feels that this could be the funnest one yet. Sniffing candles then guessing what they could be called is a nice pass time activity when there is just not much else to do.

With Christmas day having passed just a few days ago, Hassin was on a mission to try and sneak off with one of his presents. Hassin really loved his keyholder, and their idea of Christmas presents generally was good, but they always had to sneak in something Hassin would never dare let them put on him. So to help remedy his problem he decided to pass on the gift to Pep who would more likely be able to find a use for it. So Hassin snuck back into the cabin and placed the soft fuzzy reindeer footie pajamas by Pep's giant pile.

The holidays are nearly over but that doesn't mean that the fun is over yet! Asra still has a few more offerings to warm up Pep! While traversing through winter landscapes, it's always helpful to have a nice warm pair of winter boots. They may not need to touch the ground and can float everywhere, but it could still be chilly! Asra found a softly lined pair of boots that would fit flox and made sure to wrap the box nicely for Pep. They are a nice blue colour to match! They can frolic around the cozy corner once Pep warms up to the thought of boots. Asra will look forward to it!
