Fireworks: Do they inspire you or do you not like the noise and commotion? Write about it

the memories surrounding these brightly colored and patriotic bombs warm my heart like the sparks that fly from them. I remember sitting out on our driveway in my favorite pink rocking chair, ignoring the bites of ants as my brother runs back and forth lighting the works of art and screaming. My mom would just laugh, occasionally snapping pictures and cracking jokes as per usual. I remember lighting my first one, how I burnt the side of my finger but I was too in awe to even care. I remember my brother and I throwing poppers at each other feet, and how afraid I was of the small explosions that I'd run half a block to get away from him. I remember trying, an usually failing to write things in the night air with sparklers - sprinklers as I called them. Childhood innocence is enough to sway anyone with a now broken soul.

As I grew older the fireworks lost their appeal, I realized patriotism isn't all what it's cracked out to be. My animals would scream and shake with the loud bangs, and as years progressed I would too. While the designs and colors caught my attention, the screeching and thunderous booms would strike what I would soon learn was anxiety. Yet still I find myself drawn to the fire, to the color - to the memories surrounding them with friends and family. While I am not patriotic, while the sounds shake my core, it's the memories created and remembered that fuel the desire and love of fireworks.

Hello little piggy,
with eyes so big and tail so wiggly
sit snugly in a cup for tea
no more happy you can be!

Good day little piggy,
with tail so curled and voice so squeaky
makes happy me on darkest days

(I wrote a poem if that's ok.)
The colors flash and shine.
Forever imprinted in my mind.
Art in a form like no other.
I wish it could last forever.

Shapes and colors so different.
Why cant it be permanent?
Music playing in the distance.
Only adds to this elegance.

I don't know what makes me so happy.
but perhaps it's the everlasting memory.
Of spending time with those I love.
It makes me grateful for what I have.

So I love the fireworks.
It has some pretty good perks.
The only way to make this more fun.
Is if I was at the beach with some cinnamon buns.

Will the items you win from envelopes be able to be bought/traded for? Like if someone wins something I want I'd be able to trade something for it?

Items may be purchased, traded and gifted! The only rules and restrictions on this is that if you recieve an item from another person you can only sell it for equal or lesser value. If you are gifted it for free you may only give it away for free; no exceptions! When won in an event you may set your own price

Hey, so this is significantly later than I expected to post, but I wanted to give out some last envelopes. There were a few people who stayed committed and posted prompts on most, if not all of the event days. There were also works of literature that moved us to tears and art that left us in awe. So these last envelopes go out to all of those amazing people!
