For the most part, Anthe was alone at the festival; shortly after her and Spire arrived, the later darted off to go to something, coming back occasionally with snacks or prizes. (Or sopping wet, after bobbing for apples.) Though, that hasn’t stopped her from still enjoying herself, as per usual during Samhain.
In fact, she finally gets to do the part she always looks forwards to; the acorn bread! She still hasn’t found an acorn in her’s, but that’s ok! The bread’s good with or without the acorn. Though, just before she actually got to bite into her piece, she heard a familiar voice from a little ways away, accompanied by a rapidly approaching silhouette:
“ANTHE!!! ANTHE GUESS WHAT I GOT!!!”
Spire came to a short stop in front of Anthe, practically bouncing with excitement, with one paw balled up, holding something tightly. “I got an acorn!!!!” They show her the acorn, just about shoving it in her face out of excitement.
“That’s amazing, Spire! Make sure you don’t lose it,” She replies with a big smile on her face.
Even if she herself didn’t get an acorn (which, after sitting and chatting and eating brambrack with Spire, she never did), she’s proud that one of her closest friends did. (210 words)

The rain had properly ruined Shiva's already poor mood. Festivals had never been a thing they enjoyed, though there were little social events Shiva did enjoy.

But a pretty golden catshee had invited them to a game of simply eating, and truly, that couldn't be too hard, right? The two of them seemed uninterested in winning anyways, so a loss wouldn't strike either poorly.

Except, well, as Seraph gave them the choice of picking their half of the bramback, they hesitated. Winning was possible, if they just choice the right piece.

"Alright," they hummed, deliberating only a few moments longer before picking a piece. At Seraph's words, their own eyebrows raising suspiciously.

They bit in, taking a few tender bites as Seraph chewed, watching her curiously. When she pulled the acorn out, Shiva nodded tenderly despite the sinking feeling in their stomach. Shiva didn't really want it that bad anyways.

Willow flitted around from booth to booth. There were a lot of fun games, cute decorations and prizes, and delicious smells throughout the festival. She had fun watching some catshee toss a dart at a bunch of balloons. Even though she knew the pop was coming, the noise startled her slightly. She jumped in alarm, but quickly turned a smile and congratulated the winner on their great aim. She spent a while chatting with some of the sales owners who were selling little trinkets they crafted, interested in learning new techniques to apply to her own crafting. Next, she visited the sweets stall to try an apple crumble flavored funnel cake. All the while, her keen ears picked up on the spooky tunes playing from the loudspeakers placed around the festival. She was having a wonderful time!
She noticed a group of catshee gathered around a large loaf of acorn bread. Slices were being passed around as she reached them. It looked as if there were enough catshee gathered around to guarantee that there would be at least one winner. A smiling face passed her a plate with the slice on it. She thanked them and gave the food a deep sniff. It made her mouth water. She started at the edge, taking a nibble at a time. She did not want to chip a tooth. If any cat did, she had a salve in her bag to help with the pain. She was curious as to which cat had the acorn, but she was glad to be a participant, even if that was not her.

With her eyes wide and observing as much of the festivities as she could, Yorakei Sundancer catches a whiff of the most delectable smell they ever had the pleasure of smelling. Following it's trail through the crowded dirt paths, the apple red catshee stumbles upon a clearing with large bonfires scattered amongst the groups of other festival-goers. She shyly pads up to the nearest bunch, a bright purple catshee with sparkling gold jewelry sits reveling the loaf of barmbrack and sharing in the conversation with bursts of infectious laughter, accentuated by the clinking of her many bangles. "H-Hello!" Yorakei squeaks out. "What is this festivity about?"
"Haha, welcome little one. This is acorn bread, care to try one?"
