Once the group had finished asking Eerie questions, it was time for the group's final activity-- spending the night at the haunted hotel! While some of the goobies around him seemed to be afraid of staying in such a dark, spooky place, Alistaire wasn't too worried. After all, they'd met some of the friendly spirits that called this place home, and had been able to have conversations with them as well.

Accepting the room key from Marcus and Lucas, Alistaire decided to explore the floor they were on before settling on a room.

The hallways were dark and the floor creaked as he moved, the windows partially obscured by age-worn, tattered curtains that seemed to dance despite the air being stagnant. Alistaire let out a sigh as he made his way down the hall, choosing a smaller room with a fireplace. Much to his dismay, however, there aren't any logs in the fireplace!

Instead, he turns his attention to the bed, realizing only now how exhausted he truly is after a fulfilling day of ghost hunting. With a smile, he settles down, ready for a good night's sleep.

bellatrix headed off on her own in hopes that a paranormal experience would be more likely to happen with just her in the room. after much struggle she finally managed to fall asleep, only to be awoken by the sound of footsteps across the floor. she slowly leaned forward in her bed attempting to get a peak at what was making the noise, only to catch the tail end of a blue blur travel through the door.

prompt answer ; oakley tried to be brave, he really did! however, after trying for hours to fall asleep, just as he was about to doze off… he heard a noise! it sounded like a little knock. immediately awakened in fear, oakley ran out of his room and into where lucas and marcus were staying. he clambered under the closest piece of furniture and curled up, shaking. the poor guy was not built for scary ghost sleepovers. :(

prompt answer ; Lily was overjoyed to learn that the group would be staying in the hotel overnight. Rather than being scared, she was extremely excited for the opportunity to stay in a haunted hotel. Maybe she would even get to meet another ghost during the night! She happily accepted a room key from Marcus and Lucas, and set out to find her room. Soon, she had located the room she would be staying in overnight, and she eagerly entered. In her opinion, it was the perfect room; it had long, flowing curtains that floated in the wind and looked almost like ghosts, an old-looking but comfortable bed, and overall just a really spooky atmosphere. Lily loved it!
Truthfully, she really was not trying to fall asleep at all; she would not want to miss any ghosts who might decide to visit, after all! Besides, she was far too excited to feel tired, even as hours passed in silence. Lily did not feel bored, either. Something could happen at any minute! Eventually, her patience was rewarded as she heard something. It sounded like someone humming! Lily glanced around the room and spotted an incorporeal goobie standing near the window, looking outside. Lily listened as they hummed, the song sounding familiar though she just could not put her paw on why that was. When they eventually finished humming, Lily spoke up, softly so as not to startle them. "That was beautiful."
The ghost turned to face her, looking surprised but not bothered by her presence. In fact, they seemed rather happy with the compliment, and seemed to nod at her in thanks. The ghost stayed there for most of the night, sometimes humming and sometimes silent. Eventually, as it was nearing sunrise, the ghost turned to her and nodded again, before disappearing from sight as though they had never been there in the first place. But Lily knew what she had seen and heard, and she felt so happy that she had been able to meet the ghost!

prompt answer ; Hailey enjoyed sitting and listening to Eerie answer all the groups questions, while she was a bit disappointed there wasn't anyone else in here she was glad that it also meant there wouldn't possibly be any less friendly ghosts in the room as well. At Lucas and Marcus' announcement Hailey's excitement grows, it sounds like such a fun idea! She decides to take a room alone, not wishing to possibly keep any other goobies awake who may want to sleep, as despite being exhausted after all the excitement of the day she is also still so excited that she doesn't know if she can sleep. Hailey makes her way to her room and sits on her bed, keeping an eye on the rest of the room. A part of her wishes to sleep, but the rest wants to stay awake and try to see if any more ghosts show up that she could meet. After a long few hours of keeping watch the lack of sleep begins to catch up on her, and for a while she keeps slowly drifting off and then jolting awake with her ears twitching at the smallest of sounds, until eventually the exhaustion drags her under and Hailey falls asleep for good .

Anokhi was shocked to hear that they were all going to spend the night in the hotel. She wondered if any of the events they had witnessed were true or if they had been a trick to try to make it seem like the hotel was actually haunted. She nervously took her room key. Should she stay in a room by herself? She at least had Fospher to keep her company. Would it be better to safely bunk with someone else? Anokhi was too timid to speak up and ask.

In the end, she settled into her own room. She tossed and turned a lot during the night, not because of witnessing any sort of paranormal activity, but because she was too frightened and worried to sleep. If she did not have her friend with her, she might have run out of the hotel in terror.

Overall, she had fun exploring the hotel with everyone. She did not mind whether or not the ghosts might have been real or a prank. It was a fun experience. She would have to try out some other group activities in the future. These fun experiences were slowly bringing her out of her shy and quiet shell.

after a long day of talking to ghosts and trying out paranormal equipment, amaryllis was pretty tired. so many exciting events happened today that all of her energy had been used up. it was time to go to sleep.

amaryllis had decided to have a room all too herself. she wasn't sure if she snored or made noises in her sleep, so she didn't want to disturb anyone she had just met today. climbing into bed, amaryllis forgot that she was even in a haunted hotel, and she immediately fell into a deep slumber.

Their group gets the entire floor to themselves?! Haunted or not, Emerald thinks this is the best! He'd been tagging along silently for most of the adventure, and now they all finally get the reward of having a nice, relaxing rest. Well, he figured it might not be nice and relaxing for those who were afraid of the dark, or ghosts. But all the ghosts that he had ever come across had seemed friendly enough, so he wasn't worried about any threat that they might pose.
