The question is asked, and for a moment, Emersyn goes silent. But after a short while, he comes up with an answer, that he speaks through a dark, ominous tone. "Weaker. She could keep her attitude, she could keep her looks, but if I was to reform the gobbess, she'd be weak. For the safety of everyone, she'd be unable to even try to stand her ground against Jystyr. Though, if it was my choice, I'd prefer not to create her at all."

Girasole and Xiv look to each other, and then look to Sweets, who is blissfully unaware of the question as they rest, still recovering mentally from the recent events. "I'd make her a better role model for Sweets." Girasole starts, Xiv nodding and putting in his own thoughts right behind him. "Yes, we both wish that the Gobbess was simply better, that she would be a good example for agels just as Jystyr is a good example for diabs." Girasole thought for another moment. "And uh, perhaps also taking away her ability to ungoo us at will." Xiv laughed, but agreed. "Yes, that would be rather good, wouldn't it."

Waktos and Acryl don't have answers. Would they wish that she was there more often? Would they wish her to show kindness? Would they wish for her to be more merciful, to not be so vain and self-idolizing? The question, in fact, makes Waktos begin to sob again, causing Acryl to hug the agel as best he can. They didn't like this question. They hated that it was a question that had to be asked.

Maple was the only one of the bunch who really admired the Gobbess; the others had mainly given up on believing she and the Gob would come back, or they were a Diab. As an Agel, Maple obviously set her focus on the Gobbess and often visiting the Agel shrine, keeping it clean from the weather and other natural disturbances, and paying tribute when they could.

After the events from the other day, Maple felt indecisive. They wished that the Gob and Gobbess would not fight, but it seemed that the Gobbess was in the wrong, and almost all Goobs knew it. Their life-long admiration to the Gobbess made their judgement change every second they thought about her. There was so much uncertainty. Why did the Gobbess act that way?

In a fit of irritability, Maple stormed off to the Agel shrine with a satchel, filled with numerous different stationery supplies. They sat down and wrote out how they felt, even if they felt like the black hole in the shrine was staring straight through them.

"You don't deserve the amount of power you have. You frightened us all, controlling us to fall at your feet obediently, and treated Gob as if he were inconveniencing you! We don't know the whole story, but he seemed hurt and you made him seem so small compared to you."

Maple tore out the page, crumpled the paper, and threw it at the floor of the shrine. They began to scribble in frustration. They drew the Gobbess with a smile and a bright star in place of where the black hole was. Maple sniffled as a tear fell onto the drawing. All this fighting and frustration took a toll on everyone.

Their rendition of a gobbess would just be Fallen, who had made peace with Jystyr, and shone just as bright as his stars. Under the drawing, Maple wrote "Risen"

Panita hesitates at the question and glances back towards Arianna, who was busy munching on some sweets, leaning forwards a bit before speaking in a hushed tone.
"Ari has been heartbroken ever since the Gobbess betrayed us." He sighs softly with furrowed eyebrows, having been extremely angry still as the goob he saw as his younger sister had been hurt so badly. "I wish it didn't happen. Especially the way Gobbess disrespected Jystyr? It was disgusting."
Panita shakes his head and sits down with a soft grumble, keeping his body sat in as neat as he could, taking another look back at Ari.
"I would want the Gobbess to be kind, loving, accepting of every goob or gob, and just motherly to all... maybe she used to be that way. I just want her to be a good person, y'know? That's all I'd ask, I don't care what she looks like." He blinks slowly before looking down at his paws, his ears flattening against his head.

"I want the Gobbess that won't break her heart. She means more to me than anything in this world, I was enraged when she came to me bawling.. it shouldn't have happened."

prompt: Akemi cocked her head at the question. If she could create gobbess in her own way... what would she be like? Akemi grinned, almost evilly, and let out a small chuckle. "I would become the gobbess" she replied, marvelling in the thought of divinity. Everyone watching her, admiring her, how good! Just what she had always dreamt of.

Calamity Jason considers this a long moment. "I've known good an' bad goobs. I have a strong personal feelin' everyone should get to be themselves. So... this question is a hard one. It's also one I wish we didn't even have to ask." He makes a slight face of distaste, but also of the hurt reflected in much of his kin.

"We may not like her but... she should have a right to be herself. Only... hmmm. Maybe we can deal without the ungooing part. Nobody should have that kinda power. I'll deal with the pettiness, the narcissism, the... lack of empathy. I've known an' seen worse. But ungooing? You can't undo that? You can't develop into a better being after that." He looked at Selia a moment, smiling faintly.

"Ido hope one day she grows, learns, and changes on her own. Maybe lives a life like us, like Jystyr did. Maybe she could... be more like Selia here. Kind, understandin', curious, brave, smart... er. Anyways. Ya didn't hear that from me okay?"

"There is a reason for everything right? That is what Father taught us anyways..." Harley spoke, tapping her chin as she did so. "But what could cause all of... that? I know we were told some goobies just aren't very nice but that is a whole LOT of not nice..." It was Crowley who spoke next.

"...Maybe she could not handle it when the great gob divided, and Jystyr left her. It is... clear in her own way she cared for him. But maybe she can't handle change. And his time here has changed him so much that... maybe she feels as though shes lost him. But there's also the matter of that GAPING BLACK HOLE." Ugin tapped her notebook, holding it up.

'Her heart... she lost it in the seperation. Perhaps... if she only gave us all a chance... perhaps she could mold a new one? We could all help her with that.'

"You WANT to help that... that..." Ugin nodded.

"Yes. Everyone deserves a chance, even her. But I wonder if she will ever let us. Perhaps... yes. Offerings to her shrine, offerings to show her what our life is like, to show her what love is. To show her... well. Our world. She could choose not to listen of course. But imagine if she did listen, even just once, how much of a difference it would make?' Harley sighed.

"Ugin you're too much of a softy." Ugin grinned with pride, nodding firmly. She had a task for herself, now. And maybe it would never bear fruit but... maybe someday it would.
