in a moment, they were gone. the earth shook, the ground splintered and a once mighty pride fell to ruin in an instant. just as quickly as it had formed, the canyon closed, an imperfection mended. yet, it was only the ground that had healed. those claimed by the breach did not return and those left behind were shattered, broken, devastated. with their rulers gone and their numbers trivial, the survivors became wanderers. as was the way of the new world. when the orbit shifted, so did the land. the sun scorched the soil, chasms formed without warning and tidal waves battered the coast. no place was left untouched, and no place was left safe. those who survived became brutal, merciless and callous towards all, save for the pride of moon’s grace. they welcomed outsiders, aided travelers, adapted to their changing world in a way no others were willing to. that is, until the earth dragged them under as it had so many before. it was then that moon’s grace became breach’s thunder. those who were sparred the fate of the lost were left changed. they no longer helped, no longer spoke and no longer fought for a peace that would not come. rather, they retreated to the caves beneath vetur falls. untouched since the days of humankind, the heart of the cavern remains shielded by treacherous cliffs, bleak temperatures and miles of lightless channels. however, hidden just beyond that foreboding terrain lies the home of breach’s thunder; lífsins tré. illuminated entierly by bioluminescent organisms, the two mile long cavern houses flourishing fauna, crystalline springs and a towering ginkgo tree who‘s branches have sprawled outward at unnatural lengths to cover the cavern ceiling. it is here that the pride resides, sealed away from the dying world they once loved, the world they once called home. 100 words about the territory:
The original pride of Kirduk had retreated to a large snow mountain to shelter from a heat wave, which caused the pride to leave Kirduk behind while he was a young cub. He always admired his father, being king of the pride, so he started his own. He saw flaws, but as well as future in both the snow dipped trees of the frosty forest, and the savanna. His father would disapprove, but he wants the best of both sides, and it would help him and his pride to survive. He planted his feet in between, and started forward on his path to become king of the two worlds.

100 words about the territory: Skull had traveled to the mountains from a desert. He was abandoned due to his abnoxious coloring, as they feared it would bring too much attention to their pride. He had traveled there himself, as he was abandoned when he was an adolescent. Now an adult, the lion looks even more.. weird. He never developed a mane, just a small tuft of fur on the top of his head. He found other lions at the mountains, and they could've chased them off- but he challenged them to a fight. If he could defeat their leader, he would gain their territory. If not, he could kill him. It was a deal.
Needless to say, Skull defeated the leader. Not only that, but he killed the poor lioness. Her blood spilled across her pridemate's paws and they instantly dispersed. Satisfied, Skull buried the leader as a blessing. He apologized at her grave, before infiltraiting their camp. He allowed pregnant lionesses and their cubs to stay, until they gave birth & their cubs grew. After that, the territory was his, and his only.
He wasn't a disgrace anymore. He'd proved himself.
