Early in the morning you go out into the storm. The light is dim, and both you and Cassiopeia can barely see. You manage to get your flashlight working, and see some forest debris that had been blown into the mountains. Cassiopeia went off and returned with some magical snow. Both go into the bag easily.

Sleipnir Smells something the moment you are both deposited back into the storm. He insists you follow him. It doesn't take long for you both to find a serpent wandering around the woods. It seems they found something too and want to share.

Both you and your serpent return to the bitter mountains. Along the path you see a neck wreath. You turn around and you see your serpent disappeared somewhere. They appear in front of you again, holding out a crystal.

You and Phanora transfer some items over to her so you can make more headway into the storm. Once the harness is secure, and all of the items are lying smooth against her, you both head out. Along the way, you see some ice crystals. You gather them up and put them in your pouch for safekeeping.

Fleurs looks around as you both step out into the storm again. Their head keeps swinging around, as if there is a scent in the air. It isn't until you take a step forward that you smell it too. A musky smell. Fleurs goes towards the scent carefully. Something shiny catches your attention and you go towards it.

Cassiopeia's head snaps tot he right as soon as you step out into the storm again. She carefully approaches whatever it is that she sees. Your eyes are drawn to the points of light a bit ahead on the path. The mountains loom over you now. You hear a chuffing sound and see a large brown beast lumbering towards you.

You and your serpent are deposited where you left off. Only a few wisps of heat swirl around you before disappearing in the biting winds. The snow seems particularly glittery, then you realize what is making it glitter so. You both rush towards the shiny patch to gather up the precious crystals. You find something else buried in the snow

The storm tugs at you and Sleipnir. The winds blow so forcefully you can hear the the few chains on the harness clinking. You find some cover in the brush. You see that you weren't the only ones to shelter here. A neck wreath is on the ground, mixed in with some forest debris

After settling in the second bear with Merrick's help, you and Cassiopeia go out into the storm again. Glittering crystals fall from the sky. You reach out your hand and catch some. Then, you hear a sound that has become familiar now. Chuffing in the distance alerts you to the bear. Cassiopeia has gotten quite good at rounding up bears.
