Dandy Doggos - U(・ᴥ・)U || Artists and Staff

We could have a due-date, where people must turn in their doggos by a specific time. The names of the participants would be below the pictures of what they made, and on a poll ( either on cs or on poal.com or other websites ) the names of the participants are listed in the poll and people could vote for their favourite there. However, this wouldn't stop people from voting for themselves.

If you don't get what I' m saying ( Lets face it, I'm bad at words ) here's a visual example:

Yeah, I'd just keep the poll on CS to keep things easier. x)
My idea would be to have it so people could just draw out what they were thinking (either through their computer or traditionally and just taking a quick picture), and then we would then transfer that into pixel art form.

As you know, I like to do sketches first of designs before creating them. I was thinking of Easter, and how it's coming upon us, and introducing a new line edit. Please tell me what you think and if I should go ahead and make a clean line art of it. Some parts have my own edits, like the nose, so I will be reverting those back to the original look. It's there for now, as it was the most recent edit I could find in the program I use. Oh, also, the egg can be removed, but I personally prefer it there.

Edit, markings etc can be applied afterwards, as well as further line tweaking. Forgot to mention that. ^ ^

And keep the nose and eyes how you have them if you'd like, that way when people adopt your Doggos they're more special that way c:

LaceWhiskey your bunny doggo is really cute <3 The heart eyes really add a nice touch to it plus the cute little floppy ears ~ Speaking of the Easter adopts. Shad you said you wanted doggo in an egg and PPS themed bunnies ? I'd love to give those a try if I may c: Though unless the other artists want to do it I won't mind if they take over. After all they were here longer and deserve first pick. When should the sketch and or finished doggo be done and presented to you ? Might be a silly question but I am a bit new to all this ^^'

@Shad Lytlion, I'm glad you agree. I have to admit I was a bit sad I couldn't find a way to fit the bunny tail in, but perhaps someone else can incorporate that if they choose to make similar/or a bunny design.

i will have to do the lines tomorrow at the earliest though, tonight I'm focusing on doing some gift art for two people. (Which is rather difficult as it's a surprise and from their posts I can find barely much about them, aha). Still, it shall easily be done and ready come the time we need it.

Perhaps doing some bow accessories may be good too, especially for that time of year. Unsure of what other accessories we can use, but I suppose that's the whole point of the poll and competition you plan to do, to bring others in and revive the place a little. Add more stock to your shop.

Talking of which, i know many people use the oekaki. Maybe we can find a way to incorporate that? For the competition I mean. Such as, someone draws up a sketch of what a doggo looks like, identical to what we offer in pixels, then people can make designs on there, and submit them. It would be redirected to this thread, and there will be a clear rule that all accepted submissions that are chosen to be added, will be turned into pixels, for this thread.

Just a thought.

@Graceful Fox Thank you, I'm glad you like them also. I will be posting the clean lines on this thread, or provide them through mail, if anyone does want to use the design and add to it. I think it would be quite nice.

Edit: Do you think we should add one more artist, during slow periods like now? Noticed the thread isn't getting as much love as it did when it first opened. I have a feeling that's to do with the lack of Doggos being produced. Not anyone's fault, our lives will always be more important. I was just wondering, because it would be nice to have another person on board.

I very much like the idea of the Oekaki, because then everyone can enter regardless of their skill.
Also the idea of maybe adding another artist, as I think the more Doggos that are created the more people there will be.


Right now I've got three of my Nature themed release for the month, I'd like at least two more before I put them out for everyone to adopt though. So far I have a Stag, Wolf, and Bear. I'm thinking maybe a Raccoon, and then I'm not sure what the fifth would be.
An owl, or a skunk maybe? I'm not entirely sure what other woodland creature I could use.

Perfect! I don't suppose you are any good with the Oekaki, or know of anyone on the artist team, or friends list who would be able to do the lines for us?

As for another artist, I'm not quite sure how I can help, but I am glad you agree. Again, I'm not sure what the best way to advertise for one is.

Great start so far, and I cannot wait to see the litter once it's finished. I agree, it's always better to put out larger litters than two or three, gives more people a chance.

If I may request, could you hold off on the owl? It's one of my favourite creatures and I would be honoured if I could do an owl themed litter.

Unfortunately, I'm not that good at the Oekaki as all I have is just my little trackpad on my laptop.
I was thinking each person could just create something in their own style, it doesn't necessarily have to be on a Doggo, but just something that would give others an idea of what they're talking about.

This is a doggo I'm making for fun, I have no intention on using it for a litter or event doggo, unless you guys want it.



It's a work in progress, I'm using it for inspiration and plan to make the tree more detailed. (Because I love making nature themed doggos)

It's not gonna go online anywhere than here for now :>

It's based off of a Willow tree and a Turtle.
