Wow, she's AMAZING! I LOVE how her hair fades out like that! you should do one of those silent auctions where you have people send you trades for what they're willing to pay and whichever trade you like best at the end of a certain amount of time wins.

Glad you like her, she's your French roast and she's free as thanks for all of your feedback. :) I'll PM you the codes.

Out of curiosity, why do you think it should be a silent auction rather than one where people can see each other's bids?

because I ran into one where people could see each other's bids on a different site, and people were dissing each other's bids and someone actually messaged me and tried to bribe me into cancelling my bid because I was winning, so I'm just wary about those, like you said, once bitten twice shy. wow, really!? thanks so much!

I haven't heard of it being a problem on this site, but I can see how people could get overly competitive about something like that. The only trouble with a silent auction like you described is that people won't know if they're being outbid and won't get the chance to change it if they really want to win. I feel like there might be a middle ground, but I can't think of how that would work.

Probably, maybe you can post what the highest bid is but not who bid it, that way if the person recognizes that it isn't theirs they can bid, but can't try to bribe the person who bid that out of it.

That's a good plan. Thanks. :) I'll probably start the auction tomorrow. I want to do it soon because I'm already contemplating fall events, especially Halloween. Is there anything seasonal or holiday themed you'd like to see? And it doesn't have to be just Teamaids.

And since you might be interested to know, I have a new drawing that may become an adoptable if I don't just keep it for myself. :P It's still just a sketch really, but you can see it in this post.

hm, I'd be super interested in a Halloween thing for the Dream bettas and tea maids, I'm picturing a special edition dream betta and teamaid, including, but not limited to; ghost, candy, skeleton, and my favorite, pumpkin, I can see a dream betta that's got a pumpkin design, except the tail which is a green leaf, and the teamaid would be a regular teamaid with orange hair, green eyes and nice, pumpkin spice freckles, the tail would be pumpkin patterned except the end which would be a pumpkin leaf (so orange) and it would be a what did you call it, exclusive? piece. and they would come in pairs. lol, sorry, it all just kindof came to me like that. and I'm starting to picture thanksgiving and christmas things, plus newyears, valentines and st. paties, ooh, and april fools, easter... sorry, it's all coming in waves. idea upon idea upon idea.

So, like, a man serpent? that's so cool! would they be avaliable in female?

How could I not make a Pumpkin Spice Teamaid? That was first on my list. :) Ooh, and I should do a mulled cider one as well. I've already got a sort of witch-y one in the works. Ghost and candy corn are definite possibilities, but I don't think I could manage a skeleton. I can definitively say there will never be a zombie one because those things creep me out so bad. Possibly a vampire, though. The trouble is I don't want to use all of the same ideas for both Teamaids and Dream Bettas.

I don't want to plan too far ahead just yet, but as long as Mythicarium is open and has costumers I'll almost certainly keep doing special holiday adopts.

The snakey guy is called a naga, and if I do make it an adoptable there will be females as well. I'll just need to censor them a bit.

well for skeleton it would just be as though they were wearing on of those skeleton costumes, with the black where there aren't bones? I love pumpkin themed things, that what made me think of those, ooh, cider and candy corn, yes, maybe when fall rolls around you could do something to celebrate apple season? that's a big deal where I live, I don't know about other people though, we have hot cider, cold cider, apple doughnuts, and it's awesome, that's coming up soon too. yeah, I was just spitting out what was going through my head before it was gone, lol, sorry, I've already got cinco de mio and 4th of July popping up in my head, that's a whole year, lol, also Hanuka and such is popping up.

or figure out a chest covering, or they could be flat chested.

Apple season is just starting around here. I'm thinking maybe a fall fruit themed Betta batch. Do a few apple colors, some grape ones, maybe even a squash.

Hanukkah is probably going to be a big deal if I can think of good designs for it. Half of my family is Jewish so I may throw in stuff for a few of those holidays. Passover will be tough, but I've got until spring to come up with something for it.
