ENTRY: This'll be a little personal anecdote, but my favorite movie is Just Go With It with Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. I think I've always had a soft spot for movies with happy endings and this is just a prime example. My older sister and I haven't always had a great relationship but we're always able to throw this movie on and watch it together. I have fond memories of showing it to old friends and them loving it. Last year, I had to do oxygen therapy for some complications with post-Covid symptoms and I hated it so much, but we were able to watch movies while undergoing the oxygen therapy! I suggested this movie one day and it really helped calm me down. It's weird, I hate movies most of the time, I hate sitting still but... I can't get enough of this silly movie!

It was the first movie I saw that had a canonically gay main character, as well as portraying mental health issues in a way that resonated with my lived experience. The first time I saw it i watched it 7 times in 3 days, it felt so nice to have something i could relate to. It's been years since then but its still really special to me and is my go to comfort movie!!
