Thick grey clouds have covered the sky above, and the air is frigid today. It stings your nose and chills your bones as the wind gusts through your fur.

The group caught up to Melonny, and they all spent a bit of time chatting as they rummaged. Distracted by a light conversation on the many uses for a Bent Nail and a paperclip, they stumble upon a pile of old, Unidentified Bones, and decide to bring them along.


@Ruffblue -
Messoria and Sunny ran and played together as Howler and Rose talked, but a sudden happy yip from one of the pups got their attention- and Messoria dropped a bent nail at the adults feet, before bounding off to go play again.


@RadioactiveRenegade -
As the group walked along the frigid trail together, something shiny catches the youngest omni’s eyes, half buried in a pile of brush. Careful to not puncture it as she picked it up, she proudly shows off the undented can of undoubtedly Flat Soda to the rest of the group, fluffy tail wagging.


@AxieLove -
The wind was cold enough to bite, and Fuego was not the most comfortable- though the pups seem rather unbothered by the cold temps. Glowing alone against a hazy, grey horizon a fire pip flashes past slowly, obviously not a fan of the cold too. The pups rush up to the little pip, begging Fuego to “let them keep it” because “If we’re cold, it’s cold!”

The group of Pups didn’t seem bothered by the cold, playing together in the cool temperatures as they rummaged. Jack spotted something that stood out against the grey landscape, and they all gathered around to look at the brightly colored can of Flat Soda that sat before them, thinking up grand ideas for how they could use it.


@Kaisfo -
The pair of Omnis nervously approach the bush, an eerie scratchy-sound coming from it as the wind shakes its branches. Hesitantly they peeked around into the shadows, relieved to find a large piece of surprisingly new looking Sheet Metal tucked behind it. This could definitely be useful!

With the wind growing ever colder outside, the two adult Omnis decided it best to leave the pups at home with Rose today. She makes sure to let him know there will be warm blankets and yummy food for him when he returns, and that she appreciates him! He assured her he didn't mind- especially since he didn't want the pups to end up sick! Howler ventures out alone into the frigid fog alone, determined to make his venture worth it.

*With the temperatures not improving the adults agreed it would be best to leave all pups at home for today's trip to the wastelands. Nobody wanted to risk getting any of the little ones sick, and they figured if they all went out together maybe it would improve their odds of finding something right away, and getting them back home as soon as possible.

the frost doesn't seem to be letting up anytime soon. the clouds start to darken even more, and not long after, a few snowflakes start to trickle down.. better get out of the way, it's probably not going to be too long before snow rains down everywhere and covers the whole place. a blizzard may stir up soon..

ichor pips have reroll bonuses today! their bodies seem to be able to melt the snow.. how handy!

as snow piles up and fog drifts over the wastelands, it's hard to keep track of strange items or creatures as white blurs obstruct your vision. was.. was that some type of beast, or .. just a snowpile?

The cold frost lingers in the air, almost suffocating to stay in for too long. Luckily, Howler's able to find a few warm spots to rest at, then continues to explore. And it turns out.. it's paid off! While settling down in a worn, yet cozy building, he manages to find a tail bag, buried by rubble but untouched!! Rose and the kits are sure to be pleased with his find.
you can now add x1 tail bag to your inventory!

Leaving the kits back home turns out to be their best choice so far today; it's so cold it could as well be snowing. The group manages to huddle together for warmth, and Cynder's able to help warm up the others with small flames. Unfortunately, their struggle doesn't seem to have been worth it.. With fog starting to cover the wastelands, their only find is a bent nail.

Somehow the "ever stone cold and bitter" DEXA had such a deep fiery rivalry with Ender and Noelle is losing her mind just trying to keep the pips from fighting each other or showing off in dangerous ways.

They were like a match made in heaven (hell), and even though Noelle is happy DEXA has a side it wouldn't show to anyone but it's "best friend" He's mentally screaming inside every time they had to separate the pips from endangerment.

It's not all his choice to bring this combo, anyway, but since the weather is too cold for the other pips she decided to take them that is strong and seems most comfortable enough in the environment.
He briefly glances at the pips,

(They are jumping around, flicking their tails and panting excitedly! Hooray!)

and feeling a bit good with his choice of tiny crews for today's expedition, thought;

'Look at them. Thriving!'

(Now, DEXA was busy trying to prove he can climb the highest tree in their area and Ender was trying to take him down. Oops. Dangerous. Noelle better get moving.)

There's a bit of a lengthy and rowdy journey ahead for sure!

The pups were restless after their previous day indoors, so the group decides to take a short walk around the nearby area to make sure they hadn't missed any rummage, while not venturing too far from home to return before their paw pads were numb. The pair of pups find a frozen puddle, and realize they can slide around on it. This was fun until Messoria slipped, letting out a yip as she slid a little. Rose was right next to her, though, and caught her before she hit the ground. Maybe let's not do that...

nickel started her lecture about all of the things they could do with wire when they came across more while smudge and slug did all of the actual work getting it out of the panel. not that either of them minded, since nickel was prone to talking with her hands, so she was more helpful flailing around behind them. they both listened to her though, slug shooting his own remarks back just to get her fired up.

It's been a while since Igni's last adventure, but she's ready to get back out there! Her enthusiasm hasn't dimmed at all, and she even found herself a new adventuring companion! Mauveine might look a little grumpy, but the important thing is that now they have double the claws to search for double the treasures!

Today Eventide and Sizzle are taking half of the pups rummaging! After hearing about the pups last excursion, an adventure without supervision, mind you! They've insisted that the pups take at least one adult with them in the future. Hence, today reluctant rummaging trip.
Sizzle is confident everything will go well, but Eventide is a little more wary, and the pups are just happy to be there.
