DAY 3 - OPEN

The sun is more brazen than ever today. Dipping your little grub feet into those cool waves sounds like a great idea. But you're not sure how to break it to Ripley. Only two grubs are playing at the court today, and neither of them is your coach. Heat and morale do not mix. About to head back, you see a familiar grub settled beneath a palm tree, possibly dozing off. At your approach he startles and squints up at you.

"Huh? It's you! Jeez, heat's got ya down? You're looking real miserable."

Hydrating is just as important as playing. Drill that in your noggin! W-a-t-e-r. Here, follow me to that vending machine around the corner.

This corner of the beach has a little green vending machine, just as Ripley said. It's easy to overlook. The machine has an unusual design choice of three large decals. But upon closer inspection, you realize those tears are not a design choice at all... they are genuine marks. The vending machine was attacked. Either a grub was really desperate or something bad happened here.

"Uh, never mind. Don't even worry at all, actually! I'll call someone to get it repaired. Again.

Rune might not be distraught quite yet, but I sure am! I know that Rune’s day at the beach will be completely ruined without his favorite drink! Quasar simply stares at the torn up vending machine, no sounds escaping his mouth. While he doesn't say anything (he never says anything) you can't help but feel as though he is actually impressed by the destruction. Considering his destructive nature, this doesn't seem all that surprising.
