Answer: Yes, in my childhood times.
We have a "holiday" called Sint-Maarten (St. Martin's Day), in which children go door to door in the evening with a self made paper lantern, sing a song and receive candy for their efforts, So there were lots of handmade paper lanterns

Answer: i've done origami before! i can't say i'm very good with the instructions, though x) i think i would do much better with video tutorials rather than written instructions. i just can't wrap my head around the diagrams! i have not crafted a paper lantern myself, but i do have a really lovely lantern with hoenn pokemon on it from my childhood. the battery for the electric tealight inside of it has since died, but the lantern is still really wonderful even when unlit!

Answer: I've done both actually. Lantern was rather difficult because I sent it out and it burned whole eventually As for origami I did it a lot for a while when I was younger and had hundreds of bunnies origami scattered around my room. My ultimate love for bunnies was connected to this event and I ended up breeding a lot of real ones in my lifetime xD

Answer: Yes, I have tried to craft paper lanterns before and I've done loads of origami. I've even made a thousand cranes for a friend.
Lanterns are so fun to make, especially if you can decorate them. And there's lots of ways to make one too.
