Styled after some ancient Egyptian imagery. Wanted to see how I did sticking to purely base lines for a start.



I wanted to make a jester litter. These are some examples, I had some similar designs lined up in case I could make them real... and then added some color variations on each. Now the litter is a proper size at least. Let me have a jester litter please? <3


This lil' guy is inspired by the monsters from TWEWY called "noise". Before the game came out, they were just advertising with images of creatures which were made up partially of these artful limbs, and I had no idea what the game was going to be about. I was disappointed to find it had nothing to do with graffiti escaping the confines of 2D public art, but the designs stuck with me for ages after that.


Faerie wermmm. Wings because of course, antennae because buggy wings, lil leafy sleeves because honestly it's just cute. Branches/leaf pattern/springy colors because faeries give me nature-y vibes. idk I wanted to do more werm things~
Oh look I made more.

Also, I was doing seasons and was hit by terrible inspiration so I doodled a flu season faerie. I regret nothing and everything.

Why would you like to be an artist for wermz? Honestly, I just want to blend/breed worms. I'm not super original very often, but I have free time and the tools to do art things, so here I am. If nothing else, I wouldn't mind just contributing designs here and there if they meet standards. ^^;

Tell me a bit about this werm!

these guys are loosely moth-based - their curly fur has patterns based on moths' wings, they carry little lamps to lift their spirits, and their tails reflect their home in the sky.

these guys were an experiment to lean further into pixel stylization with textures and bold, bright colors ! they're inspired by a style of old pc video game graphics that i adore.

these guys have no line edits, and are instead meant purely to show off my pixel art. and i'm very happy with them !

they are l o n g. i'm gonna add more of them later bc. i have lots of ideas for them.

Why would you like to be an artist for wermz?
i'm really fond of funky little guys like this and i've been getting really into pixel art lately, i'm no expert but it'd be really fun to create batches of new werms as well as to combine my design ideas and linework styles with others' through breedings. with werms in particular, i love the freedom to experiment with the lines to create something completely new while still keeping the base concept of the species intact. it's exciting to think of all the things i could do !
my goal as an artist would be to make each member of my litters with care, so that they can all find homes with people who connect with them. :>

Why would you like to be an artist for wermz?
well, first off i absolutely fell in love with these little critters, and
i want to draw as many as possible! that aside, i've been wanting to get more
into pixel art, and the versatility and unlimited potential for creativity that
comes with UMAs is very exciting! it's such a lovely little community based
around these wermy lads, and i'd love to be a part of it

Tell me about this Werm!
These guys are all separate, standalone concepts taking
inspiration from various things, such as other animals, high fantasy, and
architectural design. Basically it's me playing around with different werm
techniques and mixing heavily and slightly edited lines.

This werm is made of cake! I was inspired by vintage tiered cakes
and wanted to try a more intricate design with heavy line edits.

I sort of just let her come to life on her own! She's
made of jelly and very sweet!

I'm fairly new to the UMA community, but I'm really enjoying myself here!
I had a lot of fun making these fakes and I'd no doubt have fun making
litters and customs too! ♡

I made these ones before downloading any pixel brushes so they look a little different :') Some simple sea monster wermz! All of them are quite quiet and solitary by nature! They're also smooth like seals save for little patches where their scales are thicker.

Good ol Hot Pink Scene Werm Glows in the dark since I like making things that glow in the dark! Fav song is Wolf in Sheep's Clothing by Set it Off and, like, Stutter by Marianas Trench. Looks intimidating but she's a very silly little creature.

Why would you like to be an artist for wermz?
Honestly, I'd mostly like to challenge myself as an artist by trying something new 😭 I am pretty darn out of my element with adoptables, nonhumans, and pixel art, but they're all things I'd like to get better at :> Also wermz just look very fun!! I've been lurking for a little while and their designs make me a happy kitty. hoohoo

Tell me a bit about this werm!

i really enjoy drawing plants and insects, so i included that on this werm. they’ve got ferns and lavender growing on them, and luna moth wings where their ears should be. their tail is a floating swirl of tarot cards.


Why would you like to be an artist for wermz?

i’ve been wanting to get into umas and pixel art and so wermz immediately caught my eye. i haven’t been active in an adoptables community in a while and recently came back, and i’ve been enjoying it a lot. wermz are such a fun idea, their versatility is something i really like about them. the community is very kind, welcoming and creative and i’d like to help continue that.

1st row: Mustelids! Specifically a nilgiri marten and a marbled polecat. Since wermz are based somewhat on mustelids I thought it was fitting. I'm a huge lover of mustelids too.

2nd row: Seraphs! I love somewhat angelic iconography that is mixed with sky themes. I find the theme always ends quite beautiful. Also the last one is just the middle one with the wings and halo removed, just to show it's patterning.

3rd row: We have to appeal to the horse girls. /lh I love horses, and I wanted horse Wermz.

4th row: I love birbs.

5th row: Wanted to try lil animated stars for one of the seraphs, a fun little thing.

Why would you like to be an artist for wermz? This is the first ARPG that has gotten me interested, the lore is interesting and I love wermz, I'm keen to help with items applications, litters and customs. Even as only a small part-time artist or even a guest artist. Contributing to this arpg would be nice since it's help me get inspiration for doing more art.

Wermz based off the suits of playing cards, I just wanted to play around with a simple design and a motif I like.

I wanted to focus on colors and patterns, still keeping something relatively simple going. Doing the colors of the rainbow with this pattern was just pleasing to the eye. I also did a version with a nearly black base fur color, mostly for fun. They ended up having a neat neon effect!

To tell the truth, the idea for this was complimentary colors. I got away from that a little bit, but I'd rather be transparent about the idea itself, and how for two of them I didn't exactly stick to it in the same way as the other two. But, I had fun with it! And the neon effect persisted with it!

Tell me a bit about this werm!
The most chaotic feeling of the bunch I created, I think most of these turned out much better without the darker background on them. I wanted to create a variety of colors together that would probably appeal to someone else and not just me, and my aesthetic sense. That being said, the blue and pink contrasting wermz are my favorite out of them all, on either backing color.

Why would you like to be an artist for wermz?

This community helped me dip my toes into, and find that I liked, UMAs! Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming, and I want to find little ways to spread some of my own joy. I like making simpler designs, and I think wermz also could be a good place to show those simpler designs. It also gives me a chance to play around more with pixel art, and to compare techniques and tips with other artists in the wermz community. All that, and it's just fun for me!

Why would you like to be an artist for wermz?
aa! well, honestly, I just love this community and the sheer amount of different ways you can demonstrate designs!
a big motivation in my applying is the possibility of creating litters and art for people and seeing them enjoy it, so
ultimately I would just love to be able to create designs for the funky lil members ;v; I've discovered that creating
adopts through UMAs like this makes me really happy, and I'd love to have the opportunity to do this with wermz!

besides that, I also wanted to give myself a bit of a challenge! I've become quite accustomed to working on a small
canvas size, but I've always absolutely loved wermz and greatly respect the team ethic and support that goes into
handling a UMA. I'd love to be part of a team where we can bounce ideas off of each other and support each others
growths as staff, artists, and general members of this cool lil community <:

Deep Sea Dweller (+ alt)



Tell me a bit about this werm!
This deep sea creepy crawly has a plethora of defense
mechanisms to ensure that larger creatures don't snap it
up in one bite. Its exoskeleton secretes a toxin that is
deadly to the taste, and the hidden spikes along its joints,
as well as the scorpion-like muscular tail with its stinger,
enable the werm to avoid large predators by stunning,
scratching, and poisoning them. It equally uses these
factors when hunting prey, using its glowing esca to lure in
unsuspecting prey.

Tell me a bit about this werm!
This ethereal-looking werm not only has an air of regality,
what with its glistening, golden scales and ancient horns,
but it also seems to have a deep love for ramen, as seen
by the stray noodle drooped across their nose. From afar
it may look like this qilin-werm has whiskers, but it's
actually just a spot of food that the chopsticks can't quite
reach, evidenced by its cradled bowl of brothy goodness!
