After a very odd conversation with your leader you decide to head back to the Hewe Ruins. You don't quite have the ability to put together a climbing kit to go through the mountains, but maybe this will help out with figuring out the Corruption Issue. That and more research. You decide to go back to the library to research musical instruments. Maybe that will turn up something. Going back into the library you go to the librarian stand thing at the front of the building. There has to be a catalog of some sorts. After a good second you find a large book. You search up I for instruments and M for music to start off not at the same bit as last time. Which was searching randomly. It's going to take awhile to go through all these books, and hope most are legible.

After hours of stifling through the rubble to eventually agree to come to the conclusion that whatever was under this building wreckage is lost for good. You do manage to find a pretty cool mortar and pistol made of stone that is in fair condition. So, not a complete loss. Instead you decide to go back to the shed from earlier and see if there are any remnants of information in there. Kitaru floats with you as you head to the edge of town. You rumage through the shed looking for journals and recipes that may explain what sage, lavender, and what else may be able to have anything to do with the Radiant Crystal. After a few hours you find a notebook of sorts with a recipe for a Potion of Radiance. It uses lavender salve and salt water from the Crystal Ocean, but there is also a blood element of sorts. Blood from a Crystal Suraimu. Wait, a Crystal suraimu? There's more elemental types? You start to think about this potion and the mixing methods of the salve being boiled over a fire burning sage. It's a cleansing ritual of sorts. And by the looks of it it may have been what Hewe was known for years ago. It probably is what got the city destroyed as well. You look at your Suraimu and grab what you can before heading home. You've found what you can find on this route.

While traveling through the circus you come across a set of peanuts on the ground. You pick them up and head to where the petting zoo is. There are four elephants in one of the larger pins and here there are people feeding snacks to giraffes and elephants. Your Suraimu gives a whine and you turn around handing the peanuts to them instead. Enjoying your time in the circus that has surprisingly livened up you decide to go buy some souvenirs for your little buddies. You buy a fake Tombstone and a pumpkin before heading out

With your Seeing Ball Suraimu in hopping beside you with a clank, clank, as they go and the blue feather in the other you walk back to the tent. When you walk in you see the table with a purple cloth and a crystal ball. This time not with your loving partner on the table. A small shadow from the side enters. You notice a purple hat with feathers in it. A Suraimu jumps up to the chair on the other side of the table, "Well, hello don't just stand there looking gorgeous. Sweetie, information is a bit pricey so you better have payment."

You look at your pockets and then back at the fancy Suraimu sitting across from you. She is looking at the blue feather. "This??"

"A feather from the Rainbow Goddess would be worth a fortune doll."

"I need this, but after you work with me you can have it."

The Suraimu scoffs, "Nothing comes for free, payment and then information." Carefully you hand the Suraimu your found feather and put Santu onto the table. "Hmmmm, wish I had someone like you looking for me."

The room turns dark and light emanates from Santu. The Suraimu across from you grabs the feather and puts it up against Santu who then glows brighter. Inside the crystal ball shows a mountain cave with twists and turns. There are gems in the walls and a vision of blue feathers comes from the mountains. It seems Iris has been taken to one of the many mountain passes. Yet, right now you don't have the equpiment to get there. So let's find some clues to help still in the Circus while it's still here. To keep from disappearing the Suraimu decides to go with you and Santu.

After hours of looking through books and novels you manage to find three books that have to do with musical instruments, and one of which looks to have handwritten notes on the side. These notes specify that there is an old Oak tree in the Marburb Thicket that grows above a section of tunnels that run down from Deadland Peaks. This tunnels are full of crystals that the tree grows nutrients from allowing the wood to have special properties. The tree has lower branches that loose "twigs" though it specifies for this large tree the twigs are more like solid branches. The people of Hewe would use this wood to carve out different types of instruments. There are pages in another book that have certain instruments and how to build them highlighted. A Wood Thumb Piano. It needs iron, wood, and thread. Then there's a pan flute that uses leather, thread, and wood. The two are highlighted and the other books had hand notes beside some with the word Radiant Crystal beside them. It looks like these two instruments were made for some sort of ritual. In the back of the third book are two music pages. They read smoothly, and seem to work differently for each instrument. One of the side notes reads that these must be played in front of the Crystal to activate Her. Her? Well, guess that will need more time that isnt here. As you walk out you see something flash by and hop out of the way. Was that? You see a Suraimu hop off with a red cape around it. Sadly, the creature runs off toward the direction of the Twisted Circus, but you notice a Suraimu egg sitting in the grass. You pick it up and find it warm to the touch. Look like you got left a gift.
