↬ prompt: Jayce is scrambling trying to get a present for his new clan mate. He just met Nebraxin, so he's unsure of what all the other cat might like. He wants to get something that can be appreciated by all kinds of cats, but not anything too generic that it seems no thought was put into the gift. It has to be something that shows Jayce appreciates Nebraxin joining his clan and wants to be friends with him.
It takes a bit of travel, but Jayce makes his way to the human village outside of the forest area that is their clan's home. He looks around until he finds a discarded blanket. It's a bit worn with a couple of holes in the corner but still perfectly good in Jayce's opinion. He folds the blanket into a tight bundle, slides it into a nearby plastic bag that Jayce has to resist the urge to play with, and carries his present home to surprise his new clan mate with a warm gift for his den of choice.

here’s the deal.

he can’t wrap his head around what someone like julius could possibly need. let’s be real. how could the heir of one of the most powerful, influential families of the magistrate with an equally long, grandiose title to match possibly need or want for anything? he has an ambrosial amount of essentials, colossal amounts of gaudy jewels, a thousand and one cloaks and accessories ━ is there anything he even needs?

aside from making fun of him? not really.
and whenever that happens, his fearless leader seems to be out of breath in the presence of the guests. it’s terribly unflattering, really.

and thus, the gift.
a mason jar filled with… air. on the lid and attached with a festive ribbon, a little label with something written in elegant script: air ━ for when you choke on your laughter. breathe deeply. :)

Dawn has somehow managed to completely forget to get a present for Slug, and she didn't even notice until she was trying to find it to bring to her friend. It was something that caused immediate panic, she searched through her own belongings as well as her sisters, and eventually found enough shells that she could string them as a necklace, that could also be wrapped to be a bracelet as well. It was cheesy and it might have been obvious that it was made very quickly, but she felt like it was better than nothing. And in her opinion, gifts that were made by somebody you loved were much better than gifts that were bought. She just hoped that Slug would like it too.

↬ prompt: Slatetooth has always been a funny, energetic guy. His first friend in the clan was Lilystar, who's the respectable, more serious and quiet clan leader. Lilystar has always put up with his pranks and jokes, but he knows that deep down inside Lilystar much prefers curling up and being told a sad story (as long as it mostly works out in the end) than an interactive prank. Lilystar was also a cat who did a lot of work to keep the clan in check, but Slatetooth would say that one of the most important things about Lilystar was that she'd let him stay in LilyClan after he'd been lonely for far too long. Because of all this, Lilystar needed a fabulous gift this holiday season, as he was sure that it'd been collecting presents to make the rest of the clan feel loved for the past moon and a half. Unfortunately, it was only a quarter moon until the LilyClan Yearly Day of Presents, and this hadn't even crossed Slatetooth's mind until today.
Fortunately, he was a very quick thinker and had lots of connections.

It was here. The night before the LilyClan Yearly Day of Presents. This was when Slatetooth had elected to present his present to Lilystar, because he knew that it would take lavish time compared to the average gift. As the sunset set in, Slatetooth spotted Lilystar coming back from a territory walk, and pranced on over to her.
"Heya, Lilystar," he gabbled. "Would you follow me over to the riverhead? I have something I'd like for you to follow me to."
Lilystar gazed at him curiously. "Sure!" she said. "Anything you tell me to do must be something worth doing. This won't be bad at all."
Slatetooth playfully glared at her, starting to forget about his anxiety. "Hey, I only did that twice!" he quipped back at her. "This is much cooler. And, in case you didn't forget, it's the annual LilyClan tradition of the night before the LilyClan Yearly Day of Presents! I'd say someone deserves a gift, and that someone is you! Oh, shoot, I wasn't going to tell you. Promise you'll be surprised?" he accompanied it down the rocky path.
Lilystar laughed. "Slatetooth, I'm honestly surprised you kept it a secret this long. I can't wait to see what this is. Honestly, you're always the best gift giver."
Slatetooth beamed in pride. "Well, I hope this lives up to your expectations. I worked really hard on it, because it slipped my mind until last quarter-moon. Don't worry, you won't be able to tell. It's really good!

Slatetooth led Lilystar up a staircase of rocks. "Up here," he called "You'll be so happy!"
When he reached the top, he jumped over to the other side and excitedly called Lilystar over. "Here you go!"
Laid in front of the two cats was a platter of berries, nuts, and hot, freshly-caught mice. "Look down!" Slatetooth cried, jabbing his tail-tip to the other side of the river. There sat their clanmate Piratetooth, along with some of the friendly cats who lived nearby, but seemed to belong to no-one in particular. "I bribed Piratetooth, Hana, Furzetuft, Mousespeck, Birchmist, and last but not least, Cliff, to join us today. They're going to put on a little show for us, all written and directed by me, of course. But first, a few words for my favorite leader!
"Lilystar, I hope you know how much I appreciate you. You let me stay here in your clan when I didn't know where else to turn to, and you've always been a rock who tells me when something's a bad idea, and if I don't listen to you, you never - well, rarely - are mean to me! I hope you really enjoy this, I worked really hard and hope you know you're amazing!"

Slatetooth and Lilystar sat on the rock, facing the opposite riverbank, snacking on nuts and berries, until the sky was only a mere humming-birds wingflap away from the sun setting.
"So, how'd you like it?" Slatetooth asked his friend.
"I loved it. I loved it so, so much. I really appreciate you thinking of me like this. Thank you so much, Slatetooth." Lilystar contently grinned at her friend.

''Aw, I thought it was your favourite.'' Soft green eyes twinkle in the daylight, ''So I made it… for you!'' Yolknose pushes a bowl forward, hearing the quiet melody as he tapped a paw against the oak bowl.

The millions of bowls lined up… all for him. With that chunky green liquid above the rim, almost on the verge of spilling out.

''But— I just get bored of it… sometimes… you know?'' Beanpaw fidgets, paws curling around the dried stay leaves, '' I really like it… I'll just eat the rest later.'' He almost almost chokes on the words,

''You don't like it… don´t you?'' Yolknose's head lowers, and if his happy smile could, it´d be turned upside down.

''Wait! No I´ll eat it!'' Beanpaw looks at him, horrified. ''I will.''

Yolknose studies him, studies him through those narrowed eyes, before his head shoots back up. That smile crooked on his lips, ''I knew you were lying!'' He smiles, ''This is your present, a lifetime supply of this!'' And with that, Yolknose twirls around, racing off.
