You spend a while looking around, seeking a place where cave cheetahs might be, but where no one has actually discovered them and left a shroom yet. Walking along on the plain somewhere to the south of the village, you suddenly trip! Looking around, it appears there are all kinds of holes out here, of all shapes and sizes. Some are certainly large enough for cave cheetahs to be wriggling into and out of. You leave your shroom here, and before long yet another hole is formed right underneath it! Did this cave cheetah smell it straight through the dirt?! Either way, they're happily snacking now.

You find, while searching, that there are some caves that are actually big enough that you can walk into fully upright. The people of the village seem to have some sort of superstition surrounding the caves -- and to be fair, with tunneling cave cheetahs, it can be easy to get lost. After only a bit of walking, you find yourself at an underground lake. Blue crystals glow from the opposite shore... but this being a cave, you can't be sure the liquid in this pool is actually water, so you leave your cave shroom close to where you came in. It's so quiet that you doze off, and when you awake, there's a cave cheetah sniffing at your feet!

Since you're sending Bronze straight up to the treetops and they seem to have no particular attachment to your moonstone, you let them carry it with them, trusting them to bring back a proper friend! Looks like they've found a new cheetah for your coalition, although this one didn't bring anything back with them, not even a second mouthful of leaves.

Your cheetah attempted to vault themselves up a tree! If they could just reach the lower branches...! Unfortunately, they tumbled back down and walked back to you dejectedly. Looks like a cheetah with a lighter build would have an easier time, and wings make that even easier!
