"oh a wedding! are you excited bucky?" huckleberry asked as they both hovered over the invitation. buckwheat felt the tips of his ears burn as his eyes glanced over the writing once more, giving a sheepish nod. "oh yeah, totally! I can't recall ever going to a wedding- says here we can invite a guest with us... maybe perhaps a partner?" that last part was mostly to himself. huckleberry's eyes glistened with a mischief only a sibling could have. she bumped her shoulder against her brother and gave a small smirk. "are you gonna invite your little friend you saw at the beach? I bet they would say yes!" buckwheat swatted at his sister and wrinkled his snout. huckleberry expertly dodged out of the way and giggled, teasing her brother with a snort. "yeah well- maybe! who knows, maybe I will go with them!" buckwheat tried to retort back, though this only caused huckleberry's grin to grow wider.

Lucero really does love weddings. So, it was an easy yes when Genevieve invited him along as her plus one. A night of good food, good company, and good music? Not to mention all the inspiration he'd get from such a beautiful ceremony to paint with once he returned home. It was a win-win situation, that was for sure.

Genevieve loves weddings, too. She was excited for any excuse to dress up, plus she always had so much fun watching the happy couple. She liked to drag Lucero out for adventures, too, and a party was always a good reason to get him out of his painting bubble.
