Barry looked between each goobie present, at their various reactions. It charmed and encouraged him, as everyone got to try something completely different. Soon enough, the entire crew came back to try cookies as well. "Huh, these are amazing!" Cocoa commented. "Wonder if we could make sweet AND savory dishes up for the cafe...." Meyer smiled up at Barry then.
"You did great... I think goobies will like these being added to the menu." She leaned up then, giving him a gentle kiss on the nose. "See, nothing wrong with you. Your sense of taste is just different... and that's what I like about you." She winked, whisking away and leaving Barry glowing a brighter red in the cheeks.
"I... er... uh..."
Cocoa snickered. "Speachless eh? I think our Barry here discovered love for both the kitchen and Meyer! Barry and Meyer sitting in a tree-" Barry walked over, elbowing Cocoa.
"Alright, alright, that's enough! Help me get this last batch outta the oven won't ya? It's the backup oven we never use but I needed somewhere for the last batch..." Donning his oven mitts he opened the over, and found himself squeaking as he fell backwards in shock. Sleeping in the oven there was a tiny goobie, freshly grown.
"Wh-wh- what?!?"
The goobie yawned, hopping out. They looked strangely, like a savory gookie with patterns of hearts sprinkled about. "Oh! I needed a warm place to sleep. I was a goo, but... I really liked the gookies in there and the warmth and I could feel love and then I grew and... hi!" Barry just looked at the others then back at the strange newly baked goobie.
"Er... hi. What er... how did...?"
"Goobies are weird, unique creatures. But I guess I need a name now... any ideas?"
πππππ
It turns out a goo was sleeping in the spare oven, and has now popped out a goobie! How will your goobie greet them? Are they too wierded out? WIll they offer names or nope out? Maybe Meyer can help?
