Dandy Doggos - U(・ᴥ・)U || Artists and Staff

Sorry Orbitz!
This past week has been hectic at my work; We only have a staff of about 10, and two have just left for maternity leave, so that's made things a bit crazy @ -@

Valentine's has passed, so that is my fault, but that does give us plenty of time to prep for St. Patrick's and Easter. c:

For St. Patrick's I'm planning to create...
Pot of Gold, Rainbow, possibly a clover field for your Doggo to sit in(?), Shamrock hat, a Shamrock bow for all the lady Doggos, and possibly a Leprechaun Doggo.

For Easter,...
Definitely a Doggo sitting in an egg shell lol, A Doggo covered in paints holding a paintbrush(?), new PPS Doggos that look like bunnies, a large Doggo that looks like a bunny,

And then potentially more for each event.
For March's release I'm thinking of making wilderness related adopts, so a deer (maybe a buck?), bear, raccoon, owl(?), things that are animal-related that maybe haven't been requested before, you know?

(If there's a (?), it means if I'm able to even make it xD)

Hay, I thought I need to be a more of a better mod for these adopt and less hanging around in the background. I decided to sort that out by bombing you artists and owner with my ideas for the doggos and so I have an idea for easter and that is maybe a easter hunt for the doggo fans?

@Shad Lytlion I completely understand! We're all very busy, I just wanted to know if you'd already made them, but I would be more than happy to help for any of these events!

@Orbitz: No, I haven't made anything for Valentine's Day, nor have I started on St. Patrick's/Easter yet. I haven't even had time to create a monthly adopt for February, and I feel bad for not doing so Dx

@Fizzy: I'm glad you're back! And an Easter egg hunt would be a cool idea
I was thinking something similar to on Halloween where a candy corn was hidden in one of my posts.
If you guys wanted to join in in hiding eggs in your post you certainly could c:
It's easier for me since the front page is covered in my posts, but for you guys you could give a range of pages (say like pg20-pg25) where they'd have to look through your posts to find an egg.
If Mods wanted to do it, they could award Dandy Coins (a range from 1-50 maybe?) to users, and Artists could hand out creations of their own design.
If Artists wanted to create new items to add to Doggos they could, or they could create new Doggos for the event,

What I did for the last few Holidays, and so I didn't have to create so many new Doggos, is I made one and then would completely flip the colors and re-color it to make a second.
That way there are more Doggos to go around

Hello Shad, I came here like you asked ^^ What art examples would you like me to show you ? I do have a couple in mind but if you have a specific design you'd like me to create and show you I have no problem with that. Whatever it is I'll do my best on creating it on the test dog outline and present it to you ^^ Right now I can show one dog design I made for a friend of her fursona if that would count ^^ Here it is if it does :3

Fill in the forms with whichever examples you're the most proud of, but do keep in mind that no matter what all Doggos are made via pixel art. So by using GiMP, Microsoft Paint, whatever program you have at your disposal.



This is the basic Doggo lineart, the "Fluffer" Doggo is what I like to call it x)

If you can create 2-3 Doggos using this lineart, using the theme "Magic" and post them here, we will go from there c:
If you wish, you can create new accessories and markings while doing this, and that'll show even more that you have what it takes.

Strengths/Weaknesses: I am a flexible person and I can experiment with different aspects if needed. I know how to pull my own weight on projects along with asking for help on things I may not understand. Collaboration Isn't a problem with me, in fact I must prefer to do it. Although I'm not the best at shading I won't blow it off completely. I will still try to add what best I could to make the Doggo look better. And of course everyone has their limits with Extreme clothing/ accessories. However, I would at least give it a shot before I dismiss it.
Have you made customs before?: No ^^'
Art examples : (2-3 examples, please!) I made 4 if that's okay !

What program do you use?: (Doesn't have to be fancy. I use MS Paint!) I used Microsoft Paint ^^
How often could you create Doggos?: I could create a doggo once a month if you needed me too c: As long as it's nothing too last minute I'll make the time to design one.
Permanent/Temporary?: Since this is my first time applying for something like this I'd like to start off as a temporary so I could get used to it ^^ If all goes well I'd be more than happy to be a permanent.
Birthday: (Get a Doggo on your birthday) March 19 ^^
Extra: I added Tinkerbell in there because whenever I think of magic I remember seeing her fly around in the intro of Disney movies ^^ Throwing her pixie dust down to reveal the Magic Kingdom Castle. I made the wizard because it reminded me of how mickey mouse would use his magic to bring the broom sticks alive in fantasia. I included a little wand and tied robe so it wouldn't look like he's ready for bed c: Then of course you can't have magic without the magician himself. I gave him a little Ace card in the hat to symbolize him having tricks up his sleeve. Lastly you can't have a magician without the famous bunny in the hat trick. Though in this case it's a Doggo in a hat ^^ Hope you like them. My favorite to make out of them was the Wizard ^^

I really like the wings you made on your first Doggo! How did you do those?
I think your strongest point is your ability to create clothing and accessories, the costumes all look great!
But I think that your markings and general fur work could use improvement. Things like stripes, spots, or markings like you made on your second Doggo all add to the general appearance of the Doggo, and they don't have to be too fancy to add a little something to the Doggo. c:

Ah thank you ^^ I'm glad you liked them ! I looked up a reference of tinkerbell's wings and just free handed it as best I could. I used different colors during the rough sketch so I could see the different segments easier and color them appropriately. I'll practice a bit more on dog markings so they'll be a lot better in the future ^^ I'm looking forward to working with everyone.
