Sandy Hoofprints wrote:Ooh also I was just wondering but none of the breeds have cross country listed as a discipline, and considering as a barn I tie warmbloods and cross country together I'd love to know which of the breeds are more suited to the discipline c:
All right -- sorry I had to run so quickly! As it stands, I think I had it so that most breeds well suited to eventing would also receive a bonus in cross-country; I had a hard time finding anything definitive because xc isn't usually run as its own discipline so they don't usually point out the horses who are particularly strong there ^^' However, I'll be happy to go ahead and edit the Warmblood standards to have ones that specifically excel in cross-country! cx Sorry about that!

Sure thing! So here's how it goes:
When you register a horse, you pick a breed from the list that you think your horse exemplifies and has the qualifications for and then register them as such. However, because Warmblood blood is usually freely exchanged among the various "breeds," you can also approve them for up to four breeds. The approval in those breeds means they can also produce horses that can be registered as that breed. If the parents are not registered in the breed you want to approve them as, it will cost an additional 100c to "approve" them and then register the foal.
I think, however, because approval is losing its value, I may have it such that both parents have to be approved for a particular breed before the foal can receive the +3 bonus in stats or else it'll only get a +1 bonus. Not sure on that though... I may just keep it as is too. Anyways, the above information should hopefully be what you need c:
