I agree with Willow on this point; it’s a nice idea, but that was what the breeding thread was made for way back when. I myself don’t update it often, and that’s entirely my fault, but I also keep people informed via the fan club as well if I am actually closed, or if I’m taking customs.

If an artist is interested in doing customs for others, they’ve always been pretty spot on with informing everyone here on the fc. I don’t see a point in determining who would want to take on these customs as opposed to others, because they’re the same thing technically. You must have the points to buy a custom item from Neri, and then have proper approval for said custom to be created. This just seems like it’s adding an unnecessary step or thread to a system that’s already laid out pretty straightforward.

The trading of pets now just allows everyone to be able to obtain the points to buy these custom items, and everyone is fully capable of keeping an eye here to see when artists are accepting custom orders. Especially since, as Willow mentioned, the breeding thread isn’t always current for our active artists. c;

I like it too, but wasn't that what the breeding thread was all about? Although, it is quite outdated now, and a lot forget to update it.

Also, my only concern is that if only a few artists say they're open for the harder breedings/customs, they'll then get the bulk of any requests, with the potential that other artists never do. (This is not a complaint or accusation or anything, I get life is hectic, and the beautiful babs take time, but just something to keep in mind, ya know?)

thats true! I hadn't really thought about that, maybe placing a limit as to how many of the top tier rare designs an artist can make in a month would work? Lets say an artist can open for 3 of the rarest slots a month. That would make it fair so all artists could have equal amounts of requests! It would also prevent an over-saturation of rare designs c: As for having a thread that just ends up dead like the breedings, maybe artists could post when they're open on here? It would def be a way to get the fanclub more active if we wanted that! Or at least a thread where artists could post when they were open instead of just updating a main post since those usually get left to sit

The trading system is only for getting points, not for managing how artists accept breedings and customs
how artists want to rule the custom offers is up to them
I want customs be taken care of in the same way like breedings, no matter if artists update their breeding threads or if they make announcements in the fc
I'm not here to manage artists breeding and custom take overs
they can set limits like in breedings, that they wont accept the same person over and over again, but will feel free to choose what they want to do
So I won't check on how artists do their things, that's up to them
I will only manage the points and items and will give people points via trading and give traded pets out to people who ask for them
the customs will bve managed like before, everytime someone wants to do a custom, no matter what rarity, they need to first ask me if it is alright before they can send it to the person, so that i can remove the points or buyed items

to everyone who sends a breeding to another artist because the former one is busy:
You must message the old artist that you cancelled the breeding, otherwise it can happen that when he is back he will do the breeding and the foal will be done twice but you only have the permission for one slot
that causes the foal to be deleted and the artist has done it in vain, what is very demotivating and time wasting
