Theme for this year's big event:
alright.
so,
i don't know if this is possible
but if it is
we should do a movie theme.
for an example, if it was alice in wonderland
or however the title goes, we could have..
teacups, the mad hatters hat, eat me cakes,
drink me bottles, and possibly some plants
from the movie.
this may be too complex of an idea, but i figured
i'd suggest it anyways.
here are some movie suggestions:
- finding nemo
- toy story
- the nightmare before christmas ?? that might be
more of a halloween thing though
- charlie and the chocolate factory

Ok so, we are going to start doing an awards system for the prompts (which will become weekly prompts instead of daily).

Once a week, there will be a prompt here for you to answer. You will get more sea glass for each consecutive weeks you answer:
Week 1 = 10sg
Week 2 = 15 sg
Week 3 = 20 sg
Week 4 = 25 sg
*Week 5 = 30 sg
Consecutive month: +30 sg
Honourable mention (HM): +up to 40 sg

If you miss a week, you will only get the amount for the week that you last answered. However, you can still answer prompts for bonuses and HMs!

At the end of a month, your rewards will be added to the bank, and the week count will start back at one.

To answer, simply fill out and post the form below on this thread!

*If the week starts with the end of a month, but ends in the next month, it will be considered a part of the previous month. e.g. If the week starts on Sunday Feb. 26th, but ends on March 4th, it will be considered week 5 of February.

Theme for this year's big event:
rainforest safari!!!!!!!!!!!
lots of tropical plants and you could do mini games like "take a tour" where you could find sg or some little plants!
and the main prize could be a marmoset!! or a macaw!

also for the arboretum building design i like the glass roof c: gotta give the lil plants some light

@reb,, Ah, by theme I didn't completely mean a theme? In big events, usually a huge set of items are introduced. Also, I try to stay away from trademarked items. ^^;

I'm hoping to get some lore in this time and do something hopefully more interesting than a form search, which honestly I don't think is possible without compromising its convenience, but will try and think about anyway...

And also, I take it that the building's cafe-ish design is okay. I might mess around with other colours in the future.

three more colour swaps! Personally I'm tied between 2 and 3, but I think I like the third one? also tried a wood roof, but I think the black looks better. Light colours made it feel like it wasn't closed off.

This'll be the last one since I don't want to cross over the weekly prompt. I'll run like, five different polls on the main thread after.

Theme for this year's big event:
Trash event.
Yeah, sound weird, but here me out.
Basically, it would be promoting found objects, reusing materials, and helping the enviornment!
You could "find" different things each day (like, post a form to go adventuring) and if you like the object you find, it would turn into a usable item, but if you didn't, you could put it in either a compost bin, a recycling bin, or a trash can and get sg or a new item!
-Items could be little things like colorful bottle caps, old pencils, colorful broken glass, anything that would be tossed away by other, but still have beauty.
-Jars could be old cans with a side opening, cardboard boxes, even pizza boxes!
-Animals could be stay cats, mice, and other things that are considered vermin but deserve more.

Theme for this year's big event: Space plants (and animals)? Whatever you imagine lifeforms from other planets would look like.

Where do you keep all your jars? Draw or describe where you would display your jars if you had them in real life! On a long table in front of a really big window. It would let the plants get a lot of sunlight and allow me to show them off to anyone passing by.

I love it! In regards to the color schemes, I'm partial to 2 and 5.

In my room probably in the window (if needing sun) or on dresser (if sun not needed)
Among the shells/leafs/rocks/toys/small zen gardens that litter my dresser XD

Savannah safari maybe?
It could have animals like lions,alligators,zebras,hippos
It could be with other safari ideas...kind of a "travel the world" type event.

Also that book is adorable.
