I love it so far!! I like this idea I currently have; I might actually use it and add some/change the jar once the preview is complete. Very exciting c;

welp, that's not to say that it's completely perfect!
One of my rules is that nothing can cover the one pixel gap between the jar and its contents, so your foxglove and aloe would need to be moved. And also, since the fence is more in the foreground than the statue, it'd be further down ^^;
I suppose the preview maker is just to give people a general understanding of how their items will fit.

I'll try to implement a button where you can send what you've made to me! Hopefully, that'll make things easier when ordering.
I'm also a little wary of people saving screenshots of their jars especially since this is offsite (and last incident), so I'll be adding a couple of text watermarks. A bit like the artist tryouts on other adoptables.

That's fine! It was a bit rushed anyways uvu;
But the text watermarks would be a great idea; the only reason I saved mine was to remember a few placements later on.

I'm currently waiting on someone to see if I can get a basilisk, which will hopefully mean that first place will be a low list as planned! Everything will be shifted down one and current third place will be merged with current second place.

anyway, I've added a couple more likes and dislikes, since now I kind of know what I'm looking for ^^;

A basilisk would be cool I personally actually just want the third place dog, since it's one of the prettier rares I'm looking for. If, against all odds, I win a higher place, I'll just have to try and trade the winner of it ;3;

Anyway, I had a thought: would it be too much or too difficult to give some short good's and bad's about the submissions? I'm just curious to see what me and the others have done well with in our characters.
Second question too, is it ok to edit my submission a little? I forgot a semi-important thing @_@

Generally giving feedback is quite unfair, but since you asked, I'll be PMing you with what I like and don't about your own entry. However, nobody else will be getting feedback (unless they ask!). You shouldn't really be putting yourself against them like that anyway!

Awesome, thank you! For me it feels kinda fair, since it gives everyone a chance to know what is good and not in a concrete context. But if you don't feel good about it, then there's no argument ^_^

for the jar preview thing, maybe you could find a way for when people save/send/get pictures of their jars, it automatically puts on a filter that makes it unuseable or untransferable?
example, i sometimes make feed ideas and layouts and get photos for people on instagram, and if i give them a link to my weheartit (imagine pinterest and instagram combined) where their feed examples are, i always put a orange tinted-filter on and turn down the opacity. that way, it's harder to take it because trying to get it back to normal screws everything up.

@yellowpaint Unfortunately that's not possible since people can use the same items but in different places. I could use co-ordinates, but then even one pixel off would count as different. :c Since it'll also be automated, it might miss or mark stuff that I wouldn't/would. I'm not sure that makes sense either ^^;

@Tubla - For the jar preview in Safari every time you try to reposition an item it duplicates itself and can't be removed as far as I can tell. RIP I love the idea though!
