celestia sighed, stretching out her limbs in the early morning light. her formerly spacious cave now felt a little cramped with the sheer number of omnis and trinkets inside. after coming across the pair of pups in the wastes, she couldn't just leave them by themselves and decided to take them under her wing. theophil showed up not long after, a lost traveller looking for shelter which celestia begrudgingly provided. the yellow king just... showed up one day. it stood watch at the cave entrance, never speaking and not really moving, even. the pups tumbled out of the den, frighteningly energetic for how early it was. "are we going on an adventure?" mero squeaked, staring at celestia with big, shining eyes. "we sure are, little ones. after we get theophil, we'll set off for the wastelands. how does that sound?" she responded, patting the siblings on the head. they screeched in delight and began tussling at the entrance. theophil padded over, yawning slightly. "the usual?" he asked, and celestia nodded. with the party complete, they set out to explore the wastelands.

Enthused about their last find, the pups are invigorated to keep going and try to find more before Lorien can decide it's time to head back and check on the others. They seem to have a real knack for this adventuring thing, the older omni muses to himself as he watches them happily chatter and take bets on who will find something next and how cool whatever they find will be.

"They're growing on you." Nivir commented knowingly as he fell in step with the lightning omni, his glowing eye fixated on the pups watchfully.

"Yeah, maybe a little. They're at least more entertaining to watch than Aylin stumbling all over the place." The two share a lighthearted laugh as they continue on while Tumbleweed pitters around oblivious to the nature of their conversation about the omni it was most attached to.

Blurb: A small mixed group set off today, of two adults and two pups. The pups yawned and whined while chasing one another around while Scratch and Poli kept a watchful guard on them. Corralling the pups when it was time to leave for the wastelands, the adults didn’t have high hopes for find much but would keep the pups busy easily being they were entertained by the strangest of things and imagination. The pups, were in aw of the vast wasteland as their curiosity took over and they began exploring fitting in smaller places then the adults. But the problem was fitting in such small spots could get you stuck and create some chaos.

*Today's rummaging party was quiet, word-wise anyways. Bluebell carried Dusty on her back around the wastelands, although she was constantly letting the pup down to roam whenever something caught his eye. She kept a careful watch over him, helping to move bigger bits and pieces that the pup was too small to move by himself. All the while she was playing background music, just something simple to keep the mood up and to cover some of the sounds that might otherwise spook the little pup.*

Sunny was full of energy - per usual - and ran laps around the pair of older Omnis as he made up silly songs about the world around them. The pair found it quite amusing, especially when they'd add a line here or there and the pup would yap about how "those aren't the right words!"

When Howler pointed out "Are there right and wrong words, if you're just making it up as you go?" it earned a laugh from Rose, and a dramatic huff from the pup. "Yuh huh!! That's not what I was gonna say!" Sunny protested

Smog-Filled Wastelands!

Staring up at the sun Xarvie and Kewii both look at each other and smile before padding forward, Ham panicking slightly before catching up to them both. As the two in front of him quietly talked amongst each other, Ham heard something behind him. He turn his head and noticed another Tiger patterned Omni. A small smile was shown to the Omni, before Ham whistled to the other two, in return they quickly turned their head.

Feather padded closer, a little weary, but when being welcomed with open paws, Feather smiled warmly and began chattering with the other two Omnis while Ham followed.

RUMMAGING 11/21/2025

The sky is clear of clouds, but the wind is frigid. It’s a fairly mild day all things considered but it's not quite comfortable out either.. It's best to keep moving, to stay warm.

There is a ring glowing around the moon, visible just though the murky air. It shines brightly in the daytime, an omen for a bitter winter ahead

As the group sets off, they find themselves exploring an old abandoned building that appeared alone through the foggy haze. There wasn’t much in terms of useful items inside, but they did manage to find a broken wall panel that exposed x25 Wires tangled together. They carefully untangle them, before tucking them away and taking off into the wasteland again

Fromis finds the two pups bickering back and forth over something, and approaches to get a closer look, scolding the pair for not sharing. He’s not quite sure that a dirty filter was something to be arguing about, so he stores it away so neither pup could have it. Maybe he could find some use for it..

Nessa led the way, keeping her focus on what awaited them ahead, Terra lifted up an out of place looking rock along the side of their trail. Tucked away beneath it was a single Bent Nail, which was quickly retrieved with an excited chirp from the pair of pups- Chione had been watching over his shoulder, and was equally as excited. Fuego thanked them for their hard work!

As Celestia rummaged with the pair of pups in tow, and found an old.. Shack of some sort? She checked it out carefully, and found an old but still usable piece of Sheet Metal hanging almost entirely off the wall. Telling the pups to stay back, she carefully pulled it from its spot and drug it back home to the awaiting Theophil

The group found themselves exploring the remains of some sort of dried riverbed- the once submerged soil now cracked, revealing rocks with shell fossils and unusual, misplaced items here or there. As the pups try to decide where they thought the water had gone, the two adult omnis notice something jutting unusually out of the soil near a rock to the edge of the bed. They manage to retrieve x5 Unidentified bones from the ground, and quietly discuss their many possible uses as the pups were still distracted guessing where the water was.

After exploring for a bit, the pups began to feel a little too comfortable with their adventuring- and they found themselves wedged uncomfortably under a bush whose branches were bristly and thorn-covered.. something you could not see from the outside. With a bit of coaxing, the pair bravely make it back out, but not without a lesson and some Scars. The poor pups take note that rummaging in gutters and gullies was a lot safer than rummaging in rose bushes!

The pup’s head tilts as they curiously approach some sort of box that sat on the ground near them- he hopped down from Bluebell's shoulders and they took turns trying to figure out how the thing opened.. It had to somehow, right? After managing to get it pried apart, they found x25 Wire inside!

Rose found a paper clip on the ground as they walked and picked it up, showing it to Howler excitedly “Look!” She chirped, tail purring. “Rosie found a paperclip-” The pup narrated in a sing-songy voice. “You can eat it like a chip-” Howler continued, earning a glare from the little guy “Nuh uh!!!” he protested seriously, which made the pair laugh

The pups trotted along together, chatting happily with their nervous new friend as Ham supervised. As they yapped, Ham noticed an old board, with a bent nail hanging out of it. He carefully plucks it from the soft, worn board and returns to his spot following the trio before the pups even notice he’d stopped. Thankfully, they weren’t walking too quickly!

After wandering and searching for a bit, the group finds a safe place to rest. The pups run around playing with eachother while Nessa and Fuego lay down and keep an eye on pair, sharing soft chirps between themselves. The pups tussle and play tag for a while to expel some of their energy. After their short rest, thr group heads out once again to search the surrounding area a bit more before nightfall.

The group of Omnis found the remains of a small shelter, tucked into a rocky hillside that appeared to be long since abandoned. It made an excellent place to store their rummaged items, and shelter when it was too cool or stormy to venture into the wasteland.
