A broken amulet

Nothing in particular stood out from it at first glance, even Cyno seemed disinterested. It is made out of a single piece of wood— a portion broken, carved out to insert two large glass pieces into it, a sphere and a ring. I tried to pry the glass out of the wooden frame, but the fit must be incredibly tight.

My struggles to take apart the artifact attracted Cyno’s attention who tried to take the relic from me. As expected, we fought over it and like every other scuffle we had in the past, something breaks.

Now, I would be more cross with Cyno for making a broken object even more broken but we noticed something! The inside frame where the glass sphere was wedged into had some sort of writings. I cannot make out many of the words, I need a magnifying glass and a slightly more intact amulet…
