I hecking love long necks, the base and artists are (is??) awesome, and everyone is so nice! Longnecks are already getting pretty successful!

This is kind of being a hypocrite because I just got a really rare custom
But I recently (while looking at archives) noticed that there are more really rares than uncommons

Rarity should be rolled for, but if both parents are very rares then the cub has a higher chance of being rare/vr as well.

Ugh I need to sleep I probably can’t english rn
Sorry if it doesn’t make sense, but really rares should be, yeah, really rare.

There's been a big boom in Extremely Rares since the custom page opened so we're trying to get it under control. In the coming weeks we hope to see less

Yeah, it's something we (as artists) fight with because I doubt it's just me, we kinda like showing off ;p I just wanna put line edits on everything, but as soon as I do, bam, that's at least a rare. I'm trying to be more reasonable with customs, and when you see normal adopts from me unless it's a special number they're usually common or occasionally uncommon (as we have quite few of those for some reason!).

Definitely with the nursery, I do rolls. Unless the parents share a trait, there's no guarantee their offspring is going to get it. So while people have been fairly lucky so far, if you breed two ER's, but they're ERs for different reasons, you might wind up with a common.

Thats one of the reasons I do the percentages! So we can have some idea where we're at and try to steer the boat to more reasonable shores.
