"What do I see?" She tilted her head, the phrasing rumbling from her throat in a velvety purr as she considered this. She pawed the ground as she sat, tail curling neatly behind her and eyes focusing in the general direction of the black apprentice shaped blob in front of her. "Well, technically, very little." She pawed the piles of herbs before her, sorting through them with an practiced ease as she continued, "It's mostly shapes."

You could barely call them distinct shapes either - if she focused she could parse proper shapes out of what was in front of her, but honestly it wasn't usually worth the effort. She had a tendency to rely on other things - like the feel of her whiskers or, more critically, her nose.

"Smell though? That's a whole other story," she paused, gracing the younger cat with a firm look as she took in the scent. She could smell the finch he'd eaten for his last meal and the burdock root he'd gathered that morning as well as... "For better or worse. You've been rummaging around near the border again I see."

Based off of his weird behavior and constant "talking to himself", most cats of the syndicate are convinced he's crazy. Other cats claim that he must have unseen powers and is part of the old foretold prophecy from many seasons ago. But in truth, once he grows up he simply wants to remain a loyal hunter to the Syndicate. If anything, the fact that he can see the deceased is just a symptom of his life, nothing that makes him any more special.

His favorite ghost to talk to is a tabby she-cat named Pythia who died from a snakebite after daring to tangle with a rattlesnake. She warns him every day not to get near the vicious reptile, in which he wholeheartedly abides by.
