CalderaClan can’t help but care for any abandoned kits or struggling parents that enter their territory, and Moondapple really has no clue what she’s doing. Instinct can only take her so far, after all. Scared to leave her kit to get food, yet struggling to make milk due to the lack of it, Moondapple was found starving in a cave alcove. Basilfoot’s hunting patrol found her, and gave her a fish larger than she’d ever seen to eat. With the assurance of food to keep herself and her kit alive, Moondapple joined CalderaClan.

The young mother never felt like she fit in with the other queens in her old clan. While Ruesweep had also been accepted into the clan in similar circumstances as herself, Sealstripe had always felt like an outsider as Ruesweep and Moondapple grew to be closer friends. She was a quiet cat, not really interested in the more outgoing queens and their seemingly over the top excitement for her kits. Truly, Sealstripe was scared and nervous, afraid to let her true feelings show to anybody in her new clan. It was almost a relief when her clan discussed disbanding, though with kits due at any time, Sealstripe felt more lost than ever...

She would run into an expecting queen who also just joined a new clan, the almost-parent exploring the forest to clear their mind and get away from the other cats who keep casting curious looks their way. Clovershade is their name, and it would be a quick bond between the two queens, both with no mate to help support their litters. For a few days, Sealstripe and Clovershade would talk to each other as Sealstripe's due date grows closer, Clovershade growing closer to their new clanmates and convincing Sealstripe to ask for a place among the clan. The pair would remain close friends, forming a sibling-like bond with each other, barely ever apart and helping each other raise their kits. The pair both vow they never want kits again, though would love their own kits and their new 'siblings' kits with their whole hearts. They would be a close family, the two queens and their kits, all feeling as if they are littermates with each other.

How will these cats or group fit into your Clan?: in quickclan, sedgepaw would be given the option to choose between becoming alpinemask's apprentice and training as a medicine cat, or becoming a warrior apprentice. as she has difficulty finding direction in the past and understanding what she wants to become in the future, she would find encouragement from looking at the other young clan cats before deciding to follow her heart and becoming a medicine cat. her history in other clans and meeting so many cats from different backgrounds would give sedgepaw the skills necessary to thrive in quickclan's culture, when so many cats come from varied walks of life. under alpinemask's mentorship, she would begin to learn and embrace a new-found knowledge of healing while also forming close friendships with lycheepaw and his sister, dragonsoar. the pair would welcome sedgepaw warmly into the clan and help her acclimate before she would find a long-lasting friendship with ashpaw and flamepounce, who came to quickclan several moons earlier as apprentices. the trio would become nearly inseparate outside of training and day to day duties, with sedgepaw forming the bridge between flamepounce's outgoing yet cynical nature and ashpaw's calm optimism. she would balance her new friends and, together, they would grow up. flamepounce would push sedgepaw and ashpaw beyond their comfort zones, and sedgepaw would learn to ground her friends and keep their paws on the ground, even as hardships try to break their spirits. with darker times ahead for quickclan, the friends will, no doubt, face their share of troubles, but they would continue to stand together.

GUIDELINES
↠ to adopt, you must have these qualifications:
1) have made a post on CAC within the past 31 days.
2) have not exceeded the five cat per user trading limit. (note: this limit does not include cats you've attained from events - only readopts, gifts, or trades)
3) have had a starter replied to by a mod, and have made a first post since.
4) have not received an official strike from CAC staff.

↠ you are allowed to rename cats from this adopt.

↠ you must state which clan your cat is going to, even if you only own one, and that clan must have had a post made in the past 31 days.

↠ cats must remain the same age that they're listed at, unless they have bio family in your clan in which case they can be aged up or down to match. bio sexes must remain the same.

↠ all genotypes must remain the same, please do not change them.

↠ you may take up to two individual cats; users who won cats from the writing prompt round are allowed to take fcfs cats so long as they haven't already won the max amount they could receive during the writing round (which was 1 group or 1 cat).

↠ all remaining groups that weren't applied for are now dispersed and will be able to be adopted individually along with the rest of the unclaimed wildclan cats!! this first-come first-serve event will last for seven days (feb 13th to feb 20th), with the deadline being February 20th, 12:30 PM MST. any remaining cats by that time will either be sent to users with the closest family relations, or repossessed by CAC staff and and redistributed as blank slates.
