Peppercorn is scared of ghosts. Not dead things being alive- necromancy and the like has got a cause. And it's visible. He's more scared of there being some invisible presence beyond his perception.
Logically, he really wants to believe ghosts aren't "real" - but the concept really freaks him out. There isn't really a way of proving they're not, that's the thing.
You don't actually know what they're able to do, and where they are at the moment. For someone that really likes being aware of his surroundings.. that's an absolute no-no.

Snaggle's greatest fear is not being scary enough on Halloween! He takes decorating his home for Halloween very seriously and even tries organizing a haunted maze event for other fellow slugs to enjoy... though its mostly because he loves making a spectacle. The haunted maze twists through narrow corridors of coral, where slimy seaweed brushes up against passerbys to give them a shiver of fear! Some of Snaggles friend's also help out with the maze, pranking and scaring attendies throughout the maze.

mio has Mixed Feelings about fall, hes the same color as all the leaves!!!! he DOES like to hide in raked up leaf piles and jump out to scare his friends and passerbys (hes a trouble maker) mio does like the food and warm vibes that come with fall, but he wishes he didnt blend into the foliage so much

Shay absolutely LOVES fall, maybe cuz his best friend is fall colored ,,hmm i dont knowwww,, he likes to help mio scare people from leaf piles but because hes so blue he stands out a lot and gets there covers blown!!! overall he enjoys bundling up with mio and going on breezy walks :3

purin is a big foodie, and fall always feels special because it brings so many cozy treats. the air fills with the smell of cinnamon, apples, pumpkin spice, and fresh pies, which makes them excited. purin looks forward to caramel apples, soft donuts, sweet breads, and gooey candies. what they love most is how fall makes everything smell so delicious, like every day has a little feast waiting around the corner!!!

flora enjoys walking through the park and seeing all the glorious fall foliage! curling up under a tree in the crisp fall air and composing a few poems is always an enjoyable activity for her. she also enjoys baking fall treats, especially fruit and nut pies such as pecan, pumpkin and the classic apple. owning a bakery might suck the fun out of baking for some sluggums, but it allows flora to really hone and perfect her craft. she's partial to fall treats, but would never say that to a customer. only close friends and family are privy to that, because she "officially" doesn't choose favorites.

Chi's favorite thing about fall is the darkness! Days get shorter, the air gets chillier, and the nights are quieter. They love the alone time on the beach, not having to worry about others being in their space. They don't mind people, but having to socialize all the time gets... tiresome. It's so nice when they get to relax on the sand and look up at the stars!
