An idea that I have could be that certain designs are worth a certain amount of rose petals and/or a certain amount of silver/gold/platinum ingots. What I am trying to say is that the designs are not items, but designs or extra features used to make a serpent or even use the designs in a short raffle and/or litter.
Hope it's a good one, but it might be difficult to pull off.
Edit: However, you can put the designs as items if you wish. c:

I suggest hiring a few "Exploring Guides", where you hire some people to post results from the explorations. I realized that they're a lot of people wanting to explore and search for flower petals, and you probably have a lot of results to post. This is just so you don't feel stressed out about the numerous posts about exploring, etc.
This is completely up to you, but I do hope that you don't feel bombarded!
