Benedict watched as Dandelion pointed out the trees with the ripest fruit to Amaranth; the floral werm seemed happy to be talking about something they knew well, despite being intimidated by the larger and more assertive Amaranth. Soon, she had picked quite a few fresh and interesting-looking fruits, and began to divide them between herself and her companion. Benedict gestured a 'thank you' to their host, prompting Amaranth to state the same. The trio ate in a comfortable silence as the dull roar and darkness of rain gave way to dappled sunshine.
