Alva holds somewhat of a jealousy towards birds with their ability of flight but even then she could not understand how anyone would come to find them scary in any way, sure they could be quite big some of them and if you had something of their interest some wouldn't hesitate to come near you for such but even then they usually kept their distance and did their own thing.
Alva had found her father to hold somewhat of a distrust for certain birds, ravens there amongst but even then he wasn't scared and in all honestly she doubted it was even the bird he has distrusting of rather than their dark shadowy look. Sharla on the other hand held quite a great love for birds, having told of them carrying fate with them or something of that kind that Alva hand't really bothered too much to properly take in as her mother had her tendency to describe and see things in a bit of an odd light at times.
That was just something that came with the family really, oddness. But even though this oddness she could still not truly fathom how someone could find birds of any kind to be truly scary in just their way of being.
