"The Outskirts!!! Oh it will be so fun, we can show Pidge where we found those gizmos--"
"..." Pidge looked pained in the face of the other beardog's excitement. "....Um...maybe we could try out of the city today?"
Mel considered that, studying their new companion. "Okay. If the Outskirts are too much for today, we can maybe try just outside the city. Whaddya say, Sax?"
"Oh...outside?? Um..." the smaller beardog looked a little nervous. "Well, if you guys are with me, I'm sure it'll be just fine!"

After their afternoon walk, Mel and Saxophone drag their new friend Pidge to the museum!
"Look, look! Hi guys," Saxophone says, snout pressed directly against the glass protecting their donated gizmos. "This is Pidge! They're living with us now!!"
Pidge looked between the excitable beardog and the display before giving a little wave at the objects.
"H-hello."
Mel wandered up to the Curator's table, gently placing the day's treasure between them. The other beardogs caught notice and scampered over to join.
"LOOK WHAT WE FOUND!" exclaimed Saxophone. "It's the best treasure yet!!! See, it's the best because it represents all of us..."
"Because it's grey?" asked Pidge, a little incredulously.
"Because it's grey." replied Mel and Saxophone in unison.
"And look," says Mel, carefully pointing a claw at its side. "It's got pink-ish wheels like your bow. You can be the tires...Saxophone is definitely the loud engine that makes it run, and I'll be the steering wheel!"
"Actually...that makes a lot of sense," admits Pidge.
"I can't wait to visit it every day..." sighs Sax wistfully.
