They seem perhaps a bit too guff for us, ha. We prefer talking to people who actually want to talk to us. We also dont have any shells, so, they really DONT want to talk to us. Pretty rough all the way around. Maybe if we had a better interaction, our opinion would change…? Either way, we’re going to steer clear for now.

“ Uhm, what a unique style! I love what’s draped over their back, the jewellery looks very nice. Red surely suits them. But uhm, I’m a little intimidated by how they act.. I’m sure they’re a nice guy though! I don’t have any shells is all, so I might not get to know them more..”

Snaggle isn't very intimidated by the shopkeepers blunt attitude, instead he approaches and spats some pirate jargon, "Arrr, Arrgh, Yarr, Gar!!!" That should be enough for negotiating shell prices, right? Luckily, Snaggle does have shells to spend, but like usual he's having trouble trying to pick an item to wear. Maybe Rogue can help him out, aye? This shopkeeper has a particular style about him that Snaggle finds to be riveting, and he'd like to get to know him more. Maybe they could even be mateys and prank some scalleywags!

Laser Tag thinks this is a great question! She's been wanting to get to know Rogue, but their sense of style and way of speaking does make Laser just a little nervous. She's worried that she'll trip over her words or maybe insult them without realizing. After all, Rogue was a LITTLE gruff in their introduction, and.. Laser doesn't have any shells yet, so she's taking their advice to stay away. However she'll be very proud when she'll get to walk up to the shop-keeper, and she'll try to make a good impression! She'd like to learn about all the far away lands Rogue has been to, and where they get their items from.

My (imaginary) sluggum thinks this new shopkeeper is interesting and a bit intimidating. It has no seashells to spend, so it will likely keep its distance for now and observe from afar. All that red is quite striking against the dark backdrop that is Rogue, making the shopkeeper an encounter it's unlikely to forget anytime soon. There are some awfully nice wares in there, though... Surely Rogue wouldn't mind if it just browsed quietly? (... Maybe it's better not to tempt fate.)

morticia doesn't know whether she hates the new shopkeeper or if she loves them.

rogue throws her off a bit, as she usually has the sharpest tongue in the room. she quite likes the bite of rogue's attitude and straightforwardness, though. as a slug that appreciates the darker side of fashion, morticia adores rogue's sense of style and secretly hates them for it. she is also jealous of the way the shopkeeper is able to intimidate others. she herself isn't intimidated by rogue, but morticia can appreciate the hustle.

They're a bit Wary of the Intimidating Looking and Loud New Shop-Keeper. Do they have to be so Rude when no one has Shells right at that Moment. Like can a Slugg Browse in Peace and Maybe Plan on what They want to spend their Shells on in the Future. Beside the Shop-Keeper being slightly Mean, He is very Stylish and the Items in the Shop are Great for getting all Dress Up in Style as well.

Shiloh looks up at the question, pensive. "I... cannot help but wonder what interesting stories they keep in that shop of theirs," she admits, voice soft and quiet. "But at the same time they are quite rough and loud and not in the... nice way. And if you approach without shells, well, I have seen things that uhm... well let us not talk about that. I am sure they are nice in their own ways they are just not my er... well, I just dont think we would make good friends and all. And thats okay! Maybe... maybe one day though I might work up the courage to ask if they might share a story or two for a few extra shells..."

viper pauses at the question, an annoyed look on its face.
"i mean, i don't think highly of most people," he mutters, eyes narrowing.
"but if you want a more... in-depth answer," he continues, "i'm not a fan. who are they to show up out of nowhere like this? they better not be stealing business from me." something tells you, from the look on viper's face, that their little scammy beach booth wasn't making too many sales recently. "all i'm saying is, it's an odd coincidence that there's less sea junk around and then this new guy shows up. if i find out they're stealin' from my turf..."
viper clenches its jaw, its eyes filled with thinly-veiled malice. you decide to drop the topic there.
