With both Sharla and Aaron being what could be described as more old fashioned in their ways of technology they haven't actually had the time to properly experience most films that to others might see as more of a must to have experienced. They had always found interest in other things instead seeing as Aaron especially usually can't really stand most films anyway. However with Alva having joined their family they had quickly come to be more invested into the world of technology and with that also films even if for most nights it ended up with just being Sharla and Alva in the end with Aaron having left sometime during the film. Which at first was simply accepted as what would have to be but it didn't take long for Alva to no longer accept this for a fact and decided to try and figure out what types of films Aaron could stand so that they all could enjoy a film-night together. It didn't take long to come to the conclusion that most films intended for a younger audience was something he usually could stand watching even if most of those instead turned out to simply be boring for him which made the next step harder for Alva to get through as the options she could find herself to was very limited. It was first when Halloween started to near that Alva managed to find a pretty much perfect match as she for the season and from suggestions from friends decided to try a marathon with the more animated films of Tim Burton. She hadn't really thought they would be anything to her father but she was quickly proven wrong as he for once seemed to actually enjoy the film to its end which Alva guessed had to do with their less childlike feel to them whilst still being something more lighthearted. There still was moment were he distanced himself from the situation but it was a start. So with that Alva made sure to get herself a proper copy of each of those films for the future.
