Extra: (:D) At some point, Caterpillar must have left the night before, given that he's back today, following the buzzing silver werm again. He cradles a purple and gold knife as he walks, pausing to hold it up against his horns, face alternating between bliss and fear. The werm leading him is patient with this process - mostly. It takes them both longer than usual to reach their destination, and when they do, there is a brief scuffle as the other werm tries to take the knife from Caterpillar's grimy paws. A flash of blue light ends the discussion - soundlessly, Caterpillar turns and resumes digging, face peaceful once more. The knife rests nearby as he works. Passers by note that the silver werm seems to come and go - one thinks he seems him crouched in a corner later that day. Another swears to have seen him clinging to the ceiling over Caterpillar's tunnel. Caterpillar works tirelessly and soundlessly.
