Oh gosh look it's a link to my entry preview because I'm proud of it but it is yet to be completed wheeze-- I'll finish it tomorrow when it's not 2am pfft <3

Also, I'd say lump small thins together too, but I like when bigger things are able to be seen individually since size won't get distorted. Then again, I do like it how it's laid-out now.

In that case, I'll wait for a couple more opinions before I implement the new tab, however it seems to be a pretty good compromise ^^

As for the contest, I've been reviewing the entries c: This will most likely be judged on how much your entry contributed to the "final idea", as I'll probably have to mash a few of them together to come up with something. First place, or the person who contributed the most, would obviously win the cup, and any other contributors would probably get either a discount off of their next jar, or an amount of sea glass.

Actually, I've been looking into some alternatives, and I've found one that seems to work! fairly well, although I might just make a google drawing or something.

Before I release it, I'm going to need a couple of testers, especially those on mobile or can't use the spreadsheet. Please let me know if you'd like to help, and I'll send you the link!

This won't replace the spreadsheet as it's the easiest for me to update, but I'm just hoping that it might provide an easier to use alternative.

You enter the small-looking shop in town, a sign out front marked The Arboretum having caught your eye as well as the group of people leaving the shop with what look like cowry shells and jars filled with sand and plants. You even noticed a person leave with a terrarium that had a bat of all things in it! Heading over to see what this was yourself, you open the door and the soft jingle of bells attached to the top rang out, alerting the owner that you were there. A call from the back behind the counter sang out, and you explored the few shelves in the room. On one lay a hydroponic tank, limited time availability it seemed, and on another were different jars with different substrates, and a terrarium on the bottom.

Glancing up at the wall behind the counter, you noticed just how diverse these little terrariums could be! Ivy and mushrooms, foxglove and chives, why, you could make quite something in these pots. Items were also a popular addition, it seemed, and you glances into the door on your left to see the first glimpses of a filled greenhouse. It wasn't apparent from outside of the store, with another building blocking the view and all, but there was green everywhere dotted intermittently with the rainbow hues of flowers.

A 'hello' broke you from your thoughts and your attention focused on the girl behind the counter, who was asking if you would need any help today. Nodding, having decided to purchase a jar, you asked for what the spherical jar looked like and she disappeared into the back, procuring a glass orb for you to view. Aha! That back room was for jar storage so customers couldn't accidentally break them! She handed it to you and you headed into the other room, taking one of the little carts available for you. You began filling your jar with substrate on the table to the left before wandering up and down the rows of plants, flowers, and little decor, taking a while with deciding what you'd like. Everything was to stay in its pot or package, though some items were loose, like the antlers and waterfall statue, and you soon wheeled out your cart of items to the front. After your total was rung up and a sheet of paper was filled out with placement instructions (on which you drew a little diagram to help with the placement better), you paid and were told you would get a call within 36 hours to come pick up your terrarium, and that you did, bringing home a bautiful centerpiece that only needed moderate watering.

So, if you're ever looking to purchase the perfect terrarium,
The Arboretum is the place for you.

    this is my entry c:
i ended up going with a story format to display the inner-workings of the arboretum hehe.

screams such beautiful entries
@leilani - same tho ? all of my uncommon trade fodder goes towards sea glass uwaa. Except the random generator has been giving me a heck ton of cowries instead of sea glass
@Tubla - I think mashing entries together is a good idea. Sometimes just one entry doesn't quite sit with you right so you gotta pluck pieces from others.. Kinda sounds odd when I explain it like that.

Anyway, I'm planning on making a Tribute to Tubla jar (much like one of Psycho's jars, except more elaborate. Plus I just want a fancy jar with a whale).
This is an ongoing thing and probably won't be finished or even fully planned until after my birthday this Saturday. I do wanna try to plan it out as much as possible because I never really plan out my jars and they sometimes end up looking bad c': But nonetheless I wanted to share so no one steals my thoughts

If anyone could suggest which jar/planter/whatever to use, that would be lovely! I really want to have a pedestal with the whale statue on top of it so keep that in mind

eyy guess who got a whale plush
I'm so happy right now you don't even know :^)

@Lioth I'd suggest either a planter pot, window box, dodecahedron or maybe even a tray (when they come out), but not the greenhouse, birdhouse, or florence flask (doesn't fit both of them :T).
