the museum curator, who was just now staring longingly at the final empty space for a lost fruit magnoot, turns to look at you. "whatchya got there?" he asks, eyebrows raising as he waddles on over. you don't seem too phased as you hand him what looks to be a useless magnet but. oh no. his eyes are enormous.

"the fabled last fruit magnoot!!" he gasps, and nearly drops the little mango. "the mangoo! oh yes, yes yes. this will do just nicely." the little fridge-pin is given its seat of honor upon the gilded pillow. it looks magnificently out of place but who are you to tell the old guy that? "well lookit that. a whole collection!" he beams, tail thwapping loudly. "go to the front desk, my wifes got somethin' real special for you," he nods.

the last time Cal donated something the museum curator had promised he would take care of it. the very same doodad has a place of honor on his desk. he beams when he sees her again. "Back again!" he exclaims and slides out of his chair, landing with a little thunk. "whatchya got this time?" he asks, putting glasses on to look at the little letter A. a beat passes. and then two. "THE LETTER A!" he gasps and scoops it up as if its precious gold, running over to the container to place it in line with its comrades. B_ARD_G. "Only a couple missin' now," he tells you. "heck, maybe you'll find em?"
