Optional Blurb: Fluttering-spark is drawn immediately to the daylily seed. She recalls how they end up appearing, a beautiful red-orange shade in many cases. The thought appeals to her, but she remembers something she’d been told about them, once, how each of a daylily’s flowers lives for only a day, before wilting under the night’s gaze and being replaced. Wincing, they wonder if they should pick another, given that sunlight has not yet returned… but perhaps it would be a good sign if these lived. They scoop the seed up and murmur a wish for the seed, one only heard by Catori.
