As it begins to rain, Howler ushers the pup into the first dry place he could find so he didn't wind up getting a cold. The two curl up in an old knocked over dumpster, though there was no trash inside- just a bunch of leaves that were surprisingly dry, and made a good bed to curl up in. It would've made an exceptional place to sleep, if the pup's snoring wasn't echoing inside of the metal box as loud as the thunder outside.

Xarvie rubbed his eyes with his paws, and when he opened them, he saw another pup walking up to him! A little confused, but not opposed to the company, He welcomed in the other pup, and looked to Ham for approval. With the subtle nod, Xarvie and Kewii now began their own adventures with Ham in tow. The two Omni pups would occasionally look back to make sure Ham was there, and every single time, sure enough, he was there!

RUMMAGING 11/14/25

The storm seems to have mostly passed, sudden torrential downpours occur here and there, while other areas seem to be in a state of perpetual misty sprinkles. The land though is waterlogged and more dangerous than it seems as huge puddles and tiny rivulets of creeks create new obstacles, or opportunities...

Water pips have a reroll bonus today as they delight in the aftermath of the storm.

Though the land is treacherous to traverse, wiser Omni know the land needs the cleansing aid from nature. Not all the 'natural' inhabitants of the wastelands agree though...

@Axielove -
While Fromis tries his best to keep the Omni pups occupied long enough to find something useful, he takes his eye off of them for one second to look closer at something he deems interesting. One second is all it takes for the two pups to scramble off without Fromis stopping them. Before panic at losing them can set in, a tell tale clank and amused barking laughter of pups at play can be heard. Catching up to them, he finds the pair happily entertaining themselves with a can of flat soda, pups will be pups I guess.



@Ruffblue -
Taking shelter in the upended dumpster was perhaps one of the better ideas Howler could have come up with. As the two take shelter from the storm, Sunny takes a well deserved nap, snoring away and oblivious to the world beyond. Howler, though, does not find rest as easy as the innocent young one. Adjusting the leaves and debris in the dumpster to further comfort the sleeping pup, he uncovers a small pile of shards. I wonder who stashed them here? Oh well, finders, keepers.

Xarvie seems rather excited to have a friend his own size, while Ham is enjoyable company, it’s always a comfort to have someone similar around. The pair of pups chatter excitedly as Xarvie recounts his adventures with Ham thus far to his new friend. So engrossed in their animated conversation and bonding, the pair seem to have forgotten what they were doing in the first place as they hear Ham clear his throat loudly. He waits for the pups to pay attention before pointedly looking at the bent nail in front of him, that they had walked right past only moments before.

Deimos feels as if its been weeks since he properly stretched. Weeks since he met up with his friends to go rummaging. He was excited to get out again and enjoy the fresh air.

Ah these pups are so energetic. Fromis is so glad they didn’t get hurt at least. Hopefully they’ll be a little more aware and keep playing with the soda while he looks around a bit!

*With Crux and Bluebell watching the pups back at home Melonny and Cynder set out for rummaging, glancing around the wastelands and noting the flooded spots to avoid.*

"Strange, it didn't seem like it was raining for that long..." *Melonny mused, glancing down at the puddles they passed.*

*Cynder shrugged, less concerned with the rain that had already passed and more concerned with how it had affected the wastelands. Some areas were damp but still walkable- while other areas were drenched if not totally flooded- they would need to be cautious as the searched today.*

Oh goodness! another pup, ham was collecting them!! Xarvie and Kewii watched the other pup, and swiftly they ran over, a little happy but mostly curious. Who was this new pup??! The little pups resembling tigers padded around in the dust and sand, kicking it up ever so slightly.

The duo find themselves rummaging along some kind of abandoned path, the little one more worried about splashing in puddles than paying attention to where they were going. Thankfully, Howler stayed alert- especially since they encounter a stranger! The new Omni trots over, demeanor friendly as they introduce themself as Rose. Howler was hesitant at first, but quickly realized they truly meant no harm when they lead the pair to something useful!
