★ Please state any relevent modding experiences you may have: i was an moderator and then admin for a large discord server (20k+ members) for about two years. i am currently a moderator for rattens and nuisance raptors here on cs (and in their respective discords)!

★ Have you ever been banned/asked to step down from any other communities? If so, explain why: nope! i resigned from my former admin position because i was working out of state for the summer.

★ Please state why you think you would be a good moderator: i enjoy keeping the peace, and that includes hearing all sides of a story and coming to a logical, fair conclusion at the end of it. in addition to being an admin in such a large server, i also have a lot of experience working with children, which is pretty much all conflict-resolution. i haven't seen a lot of drama in my time around these forums, but in the case where it does happen, i think i'd be well prepared to handle it. i just want everyone to have fun and get along! i'm also very active on discord (always lurking) and can stay on top of things that need to be done there, like answering questions and verifying new members, and generally encouraging a friendly, welcoming community!

for these guys i rlly wanted to try to balance my aesthetics a little. i was thinking a lot about soap for the first one, while the 2nd i wanted to try to maintain a "top to bottom shade markings" esque visual for it. for the general rendering i wanted to focus onVery Minimal Shading (just further distance separation) while keeping them outlined to feel more "compact" in a way.

both are basically full drawovers just to stretch my ability for the application itself, as i like working on pixel art but its been a solid since ive really sat down to do it. i promise my actual lines would match the base lineart a lot more accurately...
for the first edit, i wanted to focus on heavy polish/gradient map setups (the golden accents) that are easy to modify on the PSD and sectioning spots/layers for easy selections. for the second, i wanted to do it as a "one-off gimmick" design, hence why its a little emperor caterpillar. and to mostly work on cleaning up fur lines a lot better. both follow the same minimal shading & outlining as the no-edits. thank u for reading!

since Javascript is manipulating elements of html / css its difficult to showcase work for it without sending videos, but I will explain some things I have made with Javascript with a few screenshots

Google sheets Javascript:

Randomize_1 / Randomize_2
This first project takes a list of many possible descriptors from a range on another sheet and selects random ones each time you click the "randomize" button.

The second project I have is impossible to take pictures of since I did not make it very clean, but it is a google sheet that takes input from the user about a character and inserts it into an HTML code so that all you have to do is copy the output to place in a toyhou.se profile.

Discord_Notification
I have a third google sheets project that notifies people through discord when something is submitted via a google form.

Adventuring_project
I'm giving a picture just to make the explanation for this one easier to understand. I run this on my own computer via firefox, and it is a code that allows you to paste the source code from a webpage (this one is meant for the chicken smoothie forum) and it will spit out in a neat way every username + id that the user submitted, it uses regex, css, html and javascript to accomplish this.

I have done the typical "learn-to-code" style javascript projects as well, mostly simple in-browser games and things like an interactive shopping list.

There's still a LOT I need to learn but I do love a good project and would love to help with debugging. I also have spent time learning PHP, Regex and SQL, I am not new to programming so I know how to figure things out.

For this one I grabbed the main color of the eyes so that it was the perfect blue. At first, I started doing stars but then realized I wasn't vibing with the way it was coming out. So then I did some stripes with a light yellow!

For this one I just REALLY wanted to do something fall themed, so I drew a small tree and kept adding falling leaves around and on the tree! At the tips of the scarf is leaf piles!

I love skulls and skeletons and wanted to do a fun little skelly man. I think he turned out pretty cute!

I was listening to Thriller when I started this and it got away from me. I think he's super cute, but I think I would execute him differently if given another shot.

...You expect me, BunnyQueenKJ not to make a rabbit? I was stumped for a while on what to DO with said rabbit, as he was just the albino bunny by himself for a bit, before my best friend suggested a top hat! So he's a little magicians assistant.

I'm most proud of this one. I wanted to try my hand at something spookier and originally started out with a pumpkin for a head and the regular pearl in the tail. I then thought "No wait, put the pumpkin on the tail and make it headless!" So...Headless Horseman! Seriously had the most fun with this and impressed myself with how I handled the clothes!

this design was my first, and it was really about getting acquainted with the base lines, and playing with texture & color at such a small scale! the tiniest changes can make such a big difference -- every pixel counts.

here, i pushed the texture further, playing with making gradients through pixels. it was a lot of fun! i gave him a little friend. will it ever be born? where did he even find it? who knows.

this sleepy little guy is a unicorn-lion-keepsie of sorts. his object is a comfy pillow that nurtures all of his dreams. i wanted to push myself to try to edit the legs in a pretty drastic way while also honoring some features that make him identifiable as a keepsie. :3

my favorite final submission is this darling. she's some sort of leaf fairy meets mosh pit enjoyer, a sphynx-cat-type creature with tattooed skin and a fluffy ruffed collar that keeps her warm. her object is an enchanted sprig that keeps her leaf wings from wilting - or, well, it's supposed to, anyways.
