For the goddess who had healed her.
And so she lunged at the beast of gnarled wood and green flame, claws outstretched.
She would not slink away defeated again.

Suha pulls her lip back, baring her teeth at the creature. Her slit eyes bore into the wooden hide of her foe. "Taefan!," she yells causing some of the bark on the paw closest to her to rot.

It seemed that they were not making all that much progress. That is, the wooden hide of the creature was much tougher than either of them could have first anticipated. After lunging at the creature, having attempted to slash it with her claws, Pandra jumped away from it. She considered using her chaotic ability, but there was hardly anything to turn it against, aside from its self.

"Sister, come back!" Kandra bellowed, as she watched the creature breathe out its greenish flames. In that moment, the colorful sister used her magic to shove Pandra aside, and out of danger, while lunging at the creature, herself, to distract it.

Starting off the attack strong, Samael didn't have the foresight to watch his opponent for hidden power. Which is how he ends up with green flames licking over his flanks, turning the metal hot and burning the exposed fur between the gaps of his armor. With a pained roar, Samael leaps off the creature and staggers to the side to avoid its large black claws swiping after him.

More cats and lions join the attack, giving the red lion a breather. Gold Ichor bubbles up-- which burns worse than his wound-- and then seeps into the damaged flesh, healing it after a while. Crouching to test his mobility, Samael snarls and leaps back into the fray.

As hard as they all fight, they do not seem to be doing a proportionate amount of damage. Biting the thick bark does little to stop the monster. Still, Samael fights and claws at everything he can reach. Flames shoot out, trying to catch the felines. Black vines and claws lash out, hoping to catch someone on their heels. It is chaos.

Would earth magic work against this creature?

Orpheus had little a clue; but he looked up in sheer panic at the creature, his eyes wide. The creature lunged at the other cats, causing him to step back; giving him a moment to ready his attack. His eyes glowed with an orange light, and he could feel him summoning the earth through his well-practiced magic.

A vine lashed out at the creature before them, attempting to knock it off-guard.

As the beast flames caused chaos to wrack the ground Letaba managed to find Diablo and pulled him along to attack together as her trusty steed had ran away. Soon the two were chomping and clawing away at the demonic creature in front of them.

He wondered if water could take this monster out.
He knew fire would at least singe it.
The blue Tom braced himself, trying to will the courage for him to take the first step. Hopefully there would be no casualties in this battle, he didn’t want to see that.
Nereus let out a battle cry, darting to the side, tail flooding with blue light as he charged forward. Alaz came up at his side, and together they rammed into the monster’s side. Alaz’s fires ignited to cover the material on the monster’s flank, distracting it for long enough that others could deal more damage.

Having nothing but her physical abilities and a little insight on what move this creature might make next, Worm dashed under it, dodging its breath as best she could. Worm reached up and sank her claws into its hard underbelly, hardly making a dent. Worm quickly changed tactics, dodging between the enemy's legs, hoping to trip it up.
