TEMPERAMENT TEST
The temperament test given to Tvetyals are taken with extreme precaution. Tvetyals are rated on a one to five scale based on their reaction to various stimulating environments and actions. Please keep in mind that this test is given to evaluate the general reactions of Tvetyals in common situations. In no way can we guarantee any Tvetyal’s reaction in any irregular, startling, or fear inducing situation.
1 = very poor

Food possession: 1
Comments: Not aggressive, but extremely protective of food. Likes to hoard and
seems to believe keeping away food as a game. Tends to steal food as well, seems
nervous as he does it.
Dominance: 3
Comments: Similar reaction as food, but to a lesser degree
Loud noises: 3
Comments: Nervous about noises, hesitant, but not too fearful. Would curl lip at
nearby loud noises
Human contact (familiar): 4
Comments: Enjoys attention, noticeably calm attention. Did not enjoy rough
handling.
Human contact (stranger): 3
Comments: Hesitant and a little aggressive. Avoided contact, but lightened up after
suggestion of fish. Seemed curious at first after, but tolerated light contact.
Reactions to annoyances: 4
Comments: Again enjoyed light petting and other such contact, but did not like
light annoyances. Would pull away after pulling mane a little, but was not aggressive.
Friendliness to other Tvetyal(s): 3
Comments: Hesitant and shy toward other Tvetyals, but was not aggressive.
Tolerated company of other Tvetyals, was not aggressive, but seemed more solitary.
Unknown Objects: 5
Comments: Extremely curious and playful toward new objects. Would attempt to hoard.

Would often attempt to share food.

Comments: Would attempt to hoard toys at first, but with prompting would let up

Comments: Frightened and flinches at loud noises, would seem more fearful than
aggressive.
Human contact (familiar): 5
Comments: Adores attention, enjoys light petting and rough play. Almost begged for
attention, seemed sad when evaluation was over.
Human contact (stranger): 2
Comments: Hesitant of strangers, seemed to cling to familiar people. Coaxing hardly
worked, would tolerate presence, but seemed nervous about contact.
Reactions to annoyances: 5
Comments: Did not mind mild or rough annoyances. Seemed to enjoy all attention.
Friendliness to other Tvetyal(s): 5
Comments: Enjoyed being around other Tvetyals. Occasionally showed off. Attention hog.

Comments: Unsure about unknown objects. Did not attempt to investigate, only okay
after familiar handler demonstrated object was harmless or a toy

Comments: Flinched at loud noises, seemed a little paranoid after, but settled with
familiar handler comfort

Comments: Loves attention, but seemed to tire or get distracted after extended
attention time

Comments: Curious about strangers, slow to approach, but enjoyed petting after getting
used to stranger

Comments: Seemed annoyed by handler's pushing food around. Did not snap, but
rumbled a little.
Dominance: 2
Comments: Hoarded toys, did not seem to want to engage with handlers. Again
rumbled when handlers removed toys, but did not offer further signs of
aggression.

Comments: Offered curiosity at first, but dismissed soon after
Human contact (familiar): 1
Comments: Tolerated familiar human contact, but seemed to move away from it

Comments: Curious about strangers, but similar to familiar human contact, did not seem
