it’s the second day of your adventure through this bustling city, and there's a rising hum of excitement in the air. a murmur of some particularly extravagant event taking place tomorrow has been circulating the streets, though you haven’t been able to determine exactly what that will entail yet. you’re not sure what more these festivities could offer, to be honest—everything you’ve experienced so far has been more than enough excitement in your books.

it seems as though the city has heard your thoughts loud and clear—and decidedly ignored them—as you overhear a passerby exclaim something to their group of friends: something about a parade happening soon throughout the streets of the city. perhaps you should pay it a visit?

Ryujin remembered what Ludyc said about some surprise events happening at the market. It did pique his interest and with a deep breath, Ryujin headed towards the market. However, on his way there, he passed a peculiar looking alley. It was dark and shady, which didn’t look like it belonged, standing out like a sore thumb.

Ryujin doesn’t feel fear but some sort of anticipation instead. He decide to take a little detour before heading into the market from the east.

response: Nereus eye's are glued to the strange alley as he ponders whether or not to go into the alley. "I'm no coward and I'm certainly not scared of some dark alleyway." Nereus huffed as he began too head into the dark alleyway. "Perhaps after I'm done here I'll go explore the west side of the market." Nereus said to himself as he continued to move farther into the alley.

ludyc's words bounced around in ondine's head as the sun rose on her second day in the city of stormire. as much as the darkened alley she passed along the way seemed to tempt her, she refused to put herself in anymore precarious situations if she was able to help it. not that she would ever admit it, but she's worried that she wouldn't be able to move quick enough with her new pair of legs if anything dangerous were to transpire in that suspicious alleyway.

with that, she made her way to the market, aiming to explore both wings in their entirety. she couldn't help but let excitement bubble up at the idea of some shopping, which may very well be the first somewhat normal thing she's done since getting whisked away to this place. additionally, this parade that she had constantly heard about from others was sure to pass by relatively close to the markets. this way, she'd be able to make her way over to it as soon as she heard the commotion she was sure would follow its start.

as she made her way down cobblestone streets, she wondered if she would see any of the familiar faces she ran into at the tavern the night before.
