It seems lately the shiest member of the neighborhood has been warming up to you!! You're elated about this development and want to give him a gift of some sort. Lucky for you, you find a bundle of beautiful blue flowers on the side of the path and pick them. Maybe he can use them as decoration, you know he has an empty vase sitting on his dinner table. You rock back and forth on your paws waiting for him to answer the door, eager to give him the gift. When the door swings open, he looks at you, the flowers, then back at you and smiles. "I've been looking for something just like this! I've been wanting to trade Egg for some of her orange and yellow ones, but she wanted blue for some reason. Specifically, blue.. Thank you!" He snatches the flowers from you and tosses some stars in your basket. Well, it was supposed to be a gift, not a transaction but.. Positive interaction for the win! Your back hurts. Your paws hurt. Your tail hurts. Your everything hurts! Dragging around so much candy has taken its toll on your body. You decide that a quick break won't hurt anything, and curl up on some dead leaves on the side of the path. . . You wake up, there's a sweet perfume-y smell surrounding you and you almost don't want to open your eyes. Yet, after keeping them closed you're confused. Why do you feel warmer, and what is that smell? Your head lifts up, and your eyes open. It seems Azul noticed you while she was out foraging and also thought a quick nap wouldn't hurt anything! Though you didn't ask for a cuddle buddy, it isn't hurting anything. You resume your nap, and when you awake again you find there's candy where your friend was resting. The stars twinkle in the dark vast sky above you. A light breeze blows through you, carrying the scent of freshly baked pie. Well this house sure is festive! Decorations left, right, forward, behind. At the door was a decently sized statue of a white starcomfy with a jack-o-lantern head holding the candy bowl.. Hey wait a second. That statue is moving! You grin, creeping forward until... JAB! You poke Egg right in the ribs and she shoots up, hitting her fake pumpkin head on her roof, breaking it. Her stare chills you for a second, you wonder if you went too far until she starts laughing, "You got me good! But that just means I have to try harder next time..." Walking down the path to the door you hear something behind you. When you turn around, you see a quick flash of a white tail disappearing behind some bushes at the entrance of the wood.
