prompt:
“why are you doing this? why can’t you and jystyr rule in harmony?” solandis angrily asked. there was a part of her that didn’t want to show her anger towards the gobbess right in front of the goobie herself, but at the same time, she couldn’t suppress it. frustrated, she moved out of the way to allow pathos the chance to ask a question.
pathos pondered what he’d ask the gobbess, especially in a moment like this. after a brief moment of thinking, a question formed in his mind. “out of pure curiosity, what happened to jystyr? like.. where did he go when you threw him? do you know where he is now?” admittedly, that was more than one question, but once the diab was thinking, it was hard to stop the flow of follow-up questions from invading his thoughts.
he peered over to neptune, who was holding his favorite bunny plushie and some balloons he had brought from the goodoration station. “my turn..?” he shyly questioned. after receiving confirmation from his friends that it was his time to ask the gobbess something, he decided to ask arguably the most important question of them all. “do you like stuffed animals..? what about balloons…!?!? i personally think they’re pretty cool.. what about you?” he paused, then perked up again upon thinking of another rather important question. “oh, and.. do you have a favorite constellation? if so, what is it?”

prompt:
Urchin grudgingly pried himself from his seat. The gooble glanced up at him, curious, and he gestured back to the fairgrounds without words. He had a question he needed answered, and the gooble seemed to understand that, somehow. He set down the steps, and the gooble chirruped and followed on after him with a pitter patter of its little chicken feet. Urchin wouldn't admit it, but the company made him feel... a little calmer. At least he wasn't in this alone, right? So the two set down the stairs to the gobbess to ask her their one question. Urchin waded back through the sea of goobies-- slinking through the mess with the moon rock now tucked away securely in his pocket, and he found his place back in the middle of the destroyed fairgrounds-- back at its apex, before the gobbess. All around him goobies were bustling, blurting questions that half drowned one another out-- the words overlapping in their own sort of disorienting sea.
Urchin waited for a moment of quiet and, politely, interjected the one question he needed the answer to before he could proceed.
"What will happen to Jystyr?"
He understood she probably wouldn't answer-- but it was going to haunt him if he didn't know. What had she meant when she whispered to him that one last string of dialogue before casting him into orbit? Would he ever come back, could he ever come back? Where had he gone and... did the gobbess even know? There were so many variables, and so many questions... but they all boiled down to-- 'is Jystyr okay?'. For all the complications in the history of the species, Jystyr had still been kind and he had truly cared. For his empathy alone... Urchin needed to know what would become of him... Whether he was still out there, like that one glimmering star that persisted despite it all at the shrine.
Another goobie in the crowd piped up, asking, "How do goobies become gobs, anyway? Why didn't we know this was possible before?" They adjusted their glasses, taking notes as the gobbess spoke. "How much more about our own species do we not yet know?"
Other such questions filled the air too, some about the gobbess personally, some about goobies, some about Jystyr too. But as the crowd demanded more answers, all Urchin could do was scoop his newfound friend gooble into his arms, and slink back away a bit, away from the front of the throng of goobies trying to get the gobbess' attention. He felt already at a loss for words again, but... he did what he needed to do for his own peace, at least .He tried, and shot his shot. Now he could fall back into the rafters of the crowd while they all waited with baited breath for answers-- as many or as few would come. For what it was worth, they would... at least probably... be getting answers in some form or another to at least a few of their inquiries.

prompt:
Arianna stared in disbelief, and complete anger, she wanted the Gob back amongst everyone again! Having been brought back by Cerberus after storming off, the goob couldn't help how angry she felt, the utter gaul of the Gobbess - in Ari's opinion - to just act like everything was fine at first BEFORE allowing questions to be asked? Not even a "oh he'll be fine" after just chucking the Gob into the sky? Before even being able to think before speaking, the very obvious angry question came flying out of her mouth,
"Why can't Jystyr be with us too?!"
Cerberus tenses up and knudges Ari back away from the Gobbess before mumbling for her to go watch Moró and Aspen to calm down, which she begrudgingly did, once she had finally stepped away the three headed goob turned his gaze back towards the Gobbess. Hesitation visible on his faces before he speaks up,
"What about the moon and stars?"
"Why are you suddenly wanting to stay with us? I thought you hated us."
Amor stared at the Gobbess with a shaken up Elias at his side, having asked the question for the quiet goob, wanting to know the awnser as well.

prompt: The trio stood there silently, just watching curiously as Fallen selected goobies for her high council. They were still not entirely sure what that even meant anyway, and wondered if perhaps she would explain what was going on once she had made her selections. Their patience was rewarded, as it seemed she was going to explain some of it... Though not exactly what they had been wondering about, and it really just gave them more questions than answers. They did not understand how the whole process of joining the high council worked, but perhaps that was not the most important thing to focus on right now. They were less concerned about Fallen choosing a council than some other matters resulting from the recent events. Regardless, they hoped that those who had been chosen would enjoy their new roles.
Fallen's announcement that she would answer some of their questions interested them, though they were rather unhappy about her comment about Jystyr. In the trio's opinions, Jystyr was great! They still hoped that someday, Fallen and Jystyr would be able to rule together again... Or at least, rule separately but in the same world. But for now, they pushed the unhappiness aside to focus on the opportunity in front of them. The opportunity to ask Fallen questions. They were not sure when or if Fallen would give the goobies a chance to ask her questions again, so they wanted to make the most of this chance.
They supposed the best place to start was to try to find out how things would be changing. They just hoped Fallen would answer their questions.
"What do you plan to do now?" Lily asked.
"What are your hopes for this world?" Hope added.
They supposed if they knew the answers to those questions, it might help them figure out how to proceed. Truthfully, there was still a lot of uncertainty in their minds about what was going to happen next. About what they should do next. But maybe answers to these questions would help. They hoped so.
Despite everything,
