Of course it had to rain.
Today of all days, while a young litten escaped his previous life, the skies weeped down upon him.
Razor was hungry. Forget being wet and cold and terribly afraid, he was hungry. He walked around quietly to try and find some weak mouse or bird pokemon to make into a meal, but had no luck.
He finally spotted a pidove, weakly breathing and collapsed on the ground. That’s not right. This isn’t right. Razor stood up out of his crouch and walked over to the pidove.
Its wing was bent and it was obviously young. Unconscious, but was clearly crying previously. He couldn’t bring himself to eat this small bird, so he picked it up by the uninjured wing and carried it into the woods.
When the pidove woke, Razor met her eyes. He pushed a bowl of food towards her.
“Eat.” he grumbled. He didn’t want to share his food with a potential meal, but he felt bad. She ate like she had been starved for years. Between ravenous gulps, she managed to introduce herself. Her name was Lena, and she had been the victim of an ambush by some older bird pokemon.
Over the years, they stuck together. They were very young and weak when they met, so they figured staying together was safer. They fought battles together and finally formed a team when they found a camp to settle in. Unusual friends tend to make the strongest bonds.

Spire used to help out at the Spinda Cafe, acting as the errand 'mon as well as a barista whenever the head Spinda was busy with other things. He always liked to provide help for others, even in the littlest ways; which was why he served at the Cafe, providing refreshments for everyone. Although plenty of civilian pokemon and other guests frequently came to the Cafe, he had always loved the rescue and exploration teams that would come around to hang out and relax the most. However, Spire always thought of himself as too weak, and not worthy of having anything to do with these teams, other than silently admiring them from afar. His view on it spurred him to diligently train to become stronger and stronger, even doing subtle exercises when he was working at the Cafe to increase his strength. Eventually though, he managed to work his way up to be stronger. The first thing Aster ever remembered was waking up in a forest, alone. He was quite understandably disoriented and confused, but he found his way around after a few days, getting used to life, but she stilled questioned many things. He never knew what kind of life he might have had before he found himself in the strange forest, and was constantly curious about what his real past might have been like. However, one day Aster bumped into Chiono and Pluvio, who fell for one of his harmless little prank traps he laid around the place. The two offered him an invitation to join their exploration team after he had explained his situation to them; hoping to be able to find out more about his past before he gained amnesia, Aster willingly accepted and was officially part of Team Deluge from then on. However, after a staying with the team for a while, he found that he didn't really care about discovering his past anymore-- he was content to just stay with his newfound friends forever.Working at the Spinda Cafe, Spire always admired the rescue and exploration teams that would come by to rest. Deeming himself too weak to join such a team, he trained daily and aimed to strengthen himself to attain his dream of being in one. Eventually over the span of several months, Spire had trained enough to think of himself as worthy to approach a team as a recruit, instead of someone who was going to take their order for drinks. He had noticed a team coming around a lot recently, and approached them anxiously. That day, it seemed the three grass types on the team were hanging out, and he nervously asked if they were looking for any new team members, because they seemed like a friendly bunch, and he wanted to join, if they would have him. He was absolutely overjoyed when the leader of the team, Chiono, allowed him to join, welcoming him with a smile. His eyes teared up as the other two present members welcomed him as well, with Coriander giving him a small, light blue flower as a welcoming gift.
