Marigoldstar looked up ahead as she walked through Sandclan's territory, followed by her only clanmate Leopardstrike. The ginger tabby was pretty happy with the outcome of the meeting between the two groups, and was just glad a fight didn't start between them. They had stayed a while afterwards once they decided to make peace with each other, mostly chatting about clan life and getting to know each other. When they finally decided to leave, the sun had already began to set on the horizon. Perhaps this is what their ancestors wanted, for both of them to have peace? While Marigoldstar wasn't quite sure on that, she was sure that her clan would be safe from intruders for now.
"Marigoldstar, what are we going to do now?" A voice behind the leader piped up, looking groggily up at her. Marigoldstar sighed, answering back while still keeping her head facing forward. "We're going back to the camp, Leopardstrike. After all this we deserve a good rest." The cat behind her, Leopardstrike, only nodded briefly. They were close to their camp at this point, and Leopardstrike couldn't wait to finally be back. To her, this whole ordeal was stressful, but at least in her eyes it turned out okay. Despite her stubborn stance during the whole meeting, the cats within the group still seemed nice to them after they made peace between the two groups. However, Leopardstrike was a bit worried for the rogue group. With them having a new leader who didn't seem to make the best decisions, she still hoped that they would make it out okay. For now though, Leopardstrike was only happy for everything to be over, and to go back to normal clan life.
After a short while longer walking through the territory, they finally arrived at Sandclan's camp. It looked just like the way they left it, which made Leopardstrike happy to know nobody had ambushed it while they were gone. Despite no other cat's being in the camp to greet them, they still we're happy just to be home. While the sun disappeared and the moon rose into the sky, the two clanmates could be seen laughing with each other and cracking witty jokes, just like they use to when none of this was going on. After a while, the two cats had grown tired, and Leopardstrike had decided to go ahead and go to sleep in her comfy nest in the warrior's den. Marigoldstar had decided to still sit out in the center of the camp for a while, watching the stars up above her.
'Was this really our ancestors plan, to bring them here so we could teach them clan life?' The words echoed in Marigoldstar's head as she thought to herself. Whether it was or not, it was still a good outcome for both groups of cats. With peace between them both, Marigoldstar could rest assured Sandclan would be safe for now. After a while Marigoldstar finally went back to rest in her nest, curling up as she slowly dozed off to sleep. Tomorrow she would have to go back to her regular duties, but for now she was happy that their was peace between Sandclan and the rogue group.
